Walcott the man today. Could have had a blinder.

Think we wont have many days where teams will be able to keep down Richarlson, Tosun and Walcott. At least one to scare them.
Add Bernard into that mix, he's the one I think could be super dangerous.

Between Bernard, Richarlison & Walcott, we're very pacey and prolific up front now.

I sense the feeling that Tosun may end up being a bust (I hope not as I love the turk), imagine Lukaku running around with the lot above...

If Tosun doesn't fire this season, I'd elect to move on Niasse and spend big on a striker for next season and run New ST/Tosun/DCL, in that order of preference for the starting spot.

Happy to win, but the players took a beating from a Hughes led side. May as well rename them Stoke
Remember when he was at Man City? Lol

4 points from 2 games is good business

Especially with a new style being implemented by a new manager, Pickford having no real pre-season with the club and a couple new signings in the mix (plus more to come)

Will be interesting to see how the next couple of months pan out, with all the new signings expected to be match-fit, training and taking their spots in the starting XI

Surely the WC counts as a preseason?

Yes, but he missed out on one with the club as a result

WC experience would be invaluable for the lad, but he's missed out on building a chemistry with the new team re: structure. Most of the faces are the same atm, but structurally and chemistry-wise we are a different beast and Pickford has missed out being apart of that while being thrown back in to the thick of it as our no. 1 stopper.

Frustrating, would have taken 1 point when we went down a man but to be 2-0 up with a level playing field.

Something about Bournemouth and them scoring late goals against us that just continues to happen.

Still undefeated but when I saw the schedule at the beginning of the season, I have Wolves & Bournemouth as wins and only 2/6 points from those two fixtures is not good.

Have to say as well, Baines is cooked. Loved him for years, but he just doesn’t have the legs any more & hardly ventured forward. Seems to pace himself to get through 90mins now.

I thought the penalty was very soft as that type of contact always happens, but it just wasn’t needed in the situation. Wasn’t going to score & it was going to be 2 on 1. Much like the Wolves game, we were on track for a good win until a silly mistake

Time for the Mina/Zouma combo that everyone wanted.

Bernard instead of Richarlison as well now. Goes to show that our transfers have us covered in terms of injuries already.

Keane out for 4 weeks at least.

It’s going to be hard to build stability at the back with all of the chopping and changing.

Zouma and Holgate for the next few games I’m guessing, as Mina is out for a month as well.

I don’t think we will go back to Jagielka unless we really have to.
