At what point does relegation become a genuine chance this season?

Our December fixtures if we can’t pick up the points against Southampton & Norwich in our next 2 games, considering they are 2 of the only 3 teams below us

Davies and Holgate breathing some life into the side, nice to see.

To only be 1-0 at HT after dominating and wasting shot after shot is scary. We all know how this story ends.

right on cue

Who do people want as manager when Silva does go? It’s inevitable, unless he pulls a win or two out of his ass in December.

Arteta is a risk as he hasn’t managed a club before, but he’s been alongside one of the best managers in the world & knows what Everton means as a club.
If not him, the only other one I’d like would be Benitez. He might be a fat Spanish waiter, but he will right the ship & move us forward with some boardroom backing. Pretty scarce options otherwise that would be realistic & some other continental manager is another big risk

If only we went for an ex Celtic manager..

I think I hate the club now.
The worst part was I thought we played alright for patches to easily get a result and also just as easily get the three points. Thursday morning is going to be interesting but I think if he sticks with the tactics siniliar to the first half we could have a sniff.

Unsworth will take over, he'll do alright, get us something like 15th and avoid relegation. We'll hire Eddie Howe, clear out the list, spend a shit load of money on new players and Howe will get 7th in a good season but all of the top 6 having a blinder, as they do when we get 7th.

The following season after that, we'll bomb out of Europa and struggle in the league. Calls for Howe to be sacked begin, with eyes on Arteta to take over.

Unsworth takes over from Howe, does alright, gets us 10th and avoid relegation. Arteta comes in during the off-season, we spend a shit load of money on new players and we get 5th, just falling short of the top 4! Best we've looked since 13/14, everything's on the up. Then we bomb out of Europa, in the relegation zone and calls for Arteta to be sacked begin to breakthrough.

Rinse. And. Repeat. This club is toxic to the core and has been ever since we sacked Martinez. The last two seasons of Bobby were extremely average, don't get me wrong. BUT, we were never in this predicament. I whole heartily believe the biggest mistake was sacking Martinez for Koeman. Koeman is an ego man, he only cared for himself. Martinez loved the club and while we weren't setting the world on fire, we always made decent cup runs under him and honestly just needed a bit of luck and the Moshiri money to make something of his tenure (Certainly weren't bog shit boring to watch either).

In saying that, get Silva out. Let Unsworth stay in charge for the remainder of the season and you know what, if he does well, like he has in the past, give him the effing job. Bloke is constantly overlooked for foreign talent. As Big Sam said himself, if his name was Sam Allardychino, he'd be wanted.

Also move on Duncan Ferguson already, don't know how he has kept his position under like 3-4 managers, who all keep getting sacked.

Rant over.

He may say no, and he may go to a club bigger and more successful, but you'd be mad not to make a substantial offer to Pochettino.
We were a rabble before he came, and what he did at Soton was quite good given the resources.

Even managed to have scoring power from Jrod, Lambert and Lallana. Hardly prolific goal scoring names.
