Not sure, apparently the guy was well known in town from a respected family . Reports coming out that Tamika has been abused in the past prior to meeting Julian. (And not by Julian)

Port Lincoln is a decent sized regional coastal town not really known for having an ice problem. Not saying that excludes drug use from being linked to the crime but it’s not a known hot spot.

Her sister has been posting on Tamika's IG saying that the boyfriend had allegedly beaten her and broken her eye socket, as well as killing her cat in front of her, on the day she killed him.
Apparently he was an ice cook - allegedly.
Tamika's name appeared in at least 2 of the daily Magistrates court appearance lists in the months prior to the murder, so she seems to have been off the rails to some extent already, regardless of whatever happened on the day of the murder.
The video of her jumping up and down while the Pereira/ Ankalaev decision is read out, and then tearing her wig off in public is wild:

That is incorrect. Port Lincoln has had bad meth drug problems for decades. It is a rural town with alot of spending money because of the wealth of the fishing community.

I can. I once woke up to find my then partner had tied me to the 4 points of the bed & was intent on separating Big Jim from the twins with a carving knife. All over a minor indiscretion.
