So like does anyone like have a cool place to look around at?

I don't mean like tourist destinations but say, things like the Collingwood silos.

Anyone?

Adventure places. To explore.

A mate came down from Karratha a few years ago and I took him for a tour of the home grounds of the Melbourne footy teams. You'd be surprised how close to the city centre most of them are and theres always a gate open to get in.

If you want risk get on a train and go to Frankston.

Avoid the place altogether. It's cold, it stinks, and the ground is black and brown in colour. It's just as if there's crap everywhere you look in melbourne... except for the fact that there is crap everywhere you look in melbourne. The joint is rancid. Avoid it!

The only thing I agree with here is that it is cold, although even that could be up for discussion after the Summer we have just gone through.

I was down there for some of your "summer". It was supposedly 35 degrees, and I was wearing a jumper. Your 35 degrees is more like 25 in the tropics.

Oh, and it really is putrid down there. The smell of the place is simply obnoxious. How people can put up with being surrounded 24/7 by the fumes that makes up melbournes air is beyond me. I felt as if I was in a gas chamber most of the time I was there.

Go to the commission flats in gertrude/brunswick street, buy some skunk, then roll some joints, smoke them and get on a tram and go.

be good if you had an ipod and you could put music to this adventure. :thumbsu:

Wander around the city, but only use the laneways.
Some are dull and dirty.
Some are full of ****ers.
Some are downright dangerous.
A couple are good.
Finding out which is which is the adventure.

Call me crazy but I can live without your idea of "summer"

I'd agree with you there, the CDB has a bad smell, I notice it because I live about half an hour out of the city and the air in my area is noticeably cleaner - still, I'd hate to see what New York or any Chinese cities are like in terms of air quality.
