No surprise here , she’s been outstanding at the level from her first game , we bungled her contract negotiation on the pay heirachy that would have had her well below the top despite performing as our next best player, good on her btw have always loved how she goes about it

Yea I know that , no doubt she rationalized if not being paid what she deserves may as well go for success

Same. I think trading Milzy would get us a decent draft pick, when she is on Milzy she is good, but she's not consistent and has dropped off. We could get a young forward in the draft easily better for us. Maya Louvel-Finn blitzed the WA combine testing is skilful and tough for example.

Plan was always early December to be finalized results released just after the draft

Don't expect to much change as timing of it does not allow for it ...we will see a few changes in the fitness group but rest will mainly stay the same

Well, if you watch games and follow the Tigers its nowhere near the strangest call. Plenty were calling out her deficiencies and the way it impacted our games.

In fact, I see it as a strong move and one I didn't think we had the balls to make.

Absolutely. The safe decision was to keep her, and then nothing much changes. She is not THE problem, but symptomatic of our problems. Ball security. We struggle to play a better brand because of our repeat failures with the ball. It's about how to get better, and forcing Egan out forces us to get better, by getting better with ball in hand with the alternatives it brings. She gets it enough. But that is not enough.

Absolutely was the right decision. Grace Egan was crook and we get it impacted her season.

But she’s one dimensional
Inside mid: she’s big, but holds back, doesn’t impact contest enough.
Outside mid: not quick enough, disposal lacking.

We need elite talent and she is depth talent

If we can get a free hit at KEY FORWARD Nell Morris-Dalton, is it worth a shot? It's a question, not a statement. Back from injury is a risk, has struggled at Collingwood, but is still only 24. Not someone to chase, but maybe as train on or last on the list - not the worst, is she?

What’s this all about ?

Interpretation based on limited knowledge. Generally a lot of incorrect assumptions all around are being put out there, especially those in mainstream media using AFL match reports that they themselves listed Grace as in the best on's for us, mainly stats driven, and the one game that she was voted our best on ground was just a solitary game, she had more than the one good game over this year, but overall the last couple of years and this year especially has been trending down in more important metrics than basic ones, possessions, tackles etc.

We wouldn't have needed to shift Sheerin from the backline to midfield if we could rely on Grace to be our third best mid. She's back in that position this year as 3rd mid, only because our midfield has thinned again. So why trade her out if we need a mid? Previous poster's responses have answered this. We have a chance to rebuild our midfield and make it better.
