Pick 39 - Sam Draper.

There are a few players still on the board I *really* like, and considered trying to 'live-trade' for another pick in this range so I could grab one, but in the end decided to stick with the plan I in my head since the end of last year which was to have only the one draft selection and get Draper with pick 39.

Draper is the developing ruck to my Essendon ruck duo of Bellchambers and Leuenberger. From a list perspective he was a no-brainer, but there are players with more potential still on the board.

To have those three Essendon biys and also Longer, Hickey and Marshall from the Saints is grest peace of mind.

Done. Tis a bitter pill to swallow drafting De Koning instead of Draper since I don't really rate him but purely needs based pick. Need to develop rucks and hopefully I'm wrong about him. Meanwhile Moore, Patmore & Paton are all big accumulators I'm happy tof add.
