Extremely Impressed

Sydney did very well from the draft. I can't think of a more entertaining combo than Rohan and Jetta.

Who knows? Jetta might be absolutely fine. But that would be somewhat surprising. To acknowledge that it would be surprising is neither racist nor ignorant, merely realistic.

To assume that every indigenous kid needs to be mentored by another aborigine or that every older aboriginal player WANTS to mentor a younger player (as has been the popular claim around these parts recently) is both ignorant and extremely condescending.

Have to agree with Shotties on this one

Except we know that both Adam Goodes and Michael O'Loughlin wanted the Swans to draft some young Aboriginals into the Swans.

"Adam was pretty excited and was terrorising our recruitment blokes about getting Lewis over the line," Roos said.

Found this part funny, too.

Jetta has been quickly getting to know his new home town - he already knows which direction Coogee beach is from the SCG. And the roads were a lot busier than downtown Bunbury, "where you can lay down for half an hour and not see a car".

:D
