Yep.

I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't have a server in the southern hemisphere/ pacific region to cater for us (south east Asia and Australia). I will most likely get up at 5am but most likely get on for 3-4hrs hours in total.
 
They have been slammed on social media for lack of flexible time. For a B.E.T.A they really suck at giving users enough time. Would think 24hr windows would be better for gauging stress capability. E.g 8am OCT 31st - 8am NOV 1st.

Gives all users a set window and shut down for 24hrs to make changes as needed then launch again for another 24hrs.

I was upset up the start but the full game is only 3 weeks away so I have tried to move on. Playing the beta was never going to be the difference between buying the game or not for me.

Does that mean the first beta for ps4 is 4am tomorrow morning (monday) in Melbourne time for 1 hr ?

What time did you line up? Assuming this was for people that got there really early?

Got there at 10am and the queues were horrendous. For a expo in it's 6th year, their organization leave a bit to be desired.

No way. Makes way more sense for stress testing to force everyone to login at around the same time. The smaller the window the more users all trying to get on at once.

I got up at 5 this morning to play a few hours before work after having the launcher delete my game the other day (thank god for unlimited data)

It's fun, just ran around on my own and for a world with no npc's it's incredibly rich in things to do and the holo tapes you find are really immersive

They need to work on the balancing a bit imo because my pipe riffle was one shotting most enemies and in 2 and a bit hours I was already level 7 so instead of making harder enemies they just have a lot of them i zoned into one instance to be confronted with around 40 mobs and got wrecked right away.

Some of the options for pc are woeful though just a slapdash pc port with no thought to what pc people actually need
 
Game actually ran really well on my pc

I have 3 friend codes for the beta for PC if anyone wants one to try it tomorrow or monday send me a pm

Apparently everyone who has participated in the beta got 3 free friend codes on their platform so some of the console blokes might have codes as well

I get the feeling bethesda hq is panicking over cancelled preorders to randomly open the beta like this after the entire marketing campaign revolving around preorder to play the beta

You might be right.

Tomorrow morning will be my first time playing the BETA and will be make or break for me.
 
Moving house or I would of loved to jump on and try it out... got the pre order for my son.. and will more then likely get it for my self at some stage.
