Cheers for that, BG4L. :thumbsu:

Definately one to mark in the calendar, especially with the boys playing in their first NAB Cup match the following Friday.

Go the Blueys.

Grab yourself a few autographs and a membership while you're there, if you havn't signed up already. :thumbsu:

What time do the complaints start re:
- too many people
- too hot
- que for players too long then they just up and left
- etc.............

I'd take my son down but at 20 months old the members day in December is better value. Less people, cooler day (generally).

Good luck to those who venture down, hope you have a good time.:thumbsu:

Public Transport and a free Calendar. CMON!

great idea, particularly given our connection with visy and our captains leadership on environmental issues, but 'i'll be riding my cycle, maybe they should expand the criteria to allow the presentation of my cycle or helmet to get the calandar

These days are purely for wide-eyed children with low expectations. I find them a slung together collection of half-baked ideas, over-priced products and cringe-worthy entertainment (rock on Blues Brothers ). Not sure what I ever expected from them but it certainly isn't the laughable Romper Room mess served up year after year.

Can we have a day with no families and no little kids running around

Just hot horny Carlton chicks and a few of us single guys there......look after us for a bloody change

Well my wide eyed children had a great day last year.
They were both lucky enough to go up on the stage and present guernseys to a couple of blues players. My son presented Andrew Walker with his and my daughter gave Paul Bower his 08 jumper. They in turn gave each kid who presented jumpers a new cfc cap.
Add a heap of autographs from their favourite players and it really is a great day for the kids ( and dads ) :thumbsu:

last year was hopeless. Took my kids along with a mate and his kids

good bits -

could get access to players
games / skills stuff / jumping castles etc

bad bits

food and drinks were impossible to get to and terrible when you did
no shade
the band was SO bad I was ashamed of my club

i live pretty close - so will probably show up again - but this is their last chance

if you are a member its free otherwise its 10 bucks... seriously what are you complaining about

what I am I complaining about? not much other than the food, drink and the hugely embarrassing band.

As I member - i got to waltz right in - my mate had brought his kids up from Ocean Grove whihc is a fair effort

I was just pointing out that there are some significant areas of improvment
