Can who ever does this actually watch the match and not just look at the stats? It has a little snow symbol next to bate with "one kick for the game"

Too bad he got injured in the first 2 minutes!

Jeff White "beaten by jolly"??? White smashed him in the ruck...

carroll : "has a RIDICULOUS new hair cut" .... its the EXACT same one he had last year

Jude bolton "treated mclean like a training cone" ... thats why mclean has more points and even the sydney biased commentators said he won out.

I know those guys do a good job but if your not watching the game dont do it at all

Also yesterday it said Richo was was getting cheap kicks on the flank. LOL That's working HARD my friend.

One simple solution mate... don't look at the symbols. To answer your question about the watching the game, someone must be watching if they seen Carroll has a new haircut?

Those symbols usually change through out the game, if you don't link the service that M0nty and co provide don't use it!

Yeh but i find the symbols good information and i didnt mind when i saw some games had no symbols there. im just saying that if your going to put wrong information up dont put anything there at all. No offense though m0nty fanfooty is a great site:thumbsu:.

It is vitually a free site...give them a break...

It's not like it is an AFL sponsered site or they make a bucket load of cash from it.

I think it is a Fantatsic service that M0nty provides!

Yeh its a free site, its great they do it. But you dont need money to write a sentence thats right. I like there service very much but if theres areas of which it can improve, whys it wrong to point it out and possibly help them?

I didn't hear the injury to Bate, sorry about that one. Jolly had more hit-outs than White before he got injured, I'd call that getting beaten. As for Carroll, I heard on SEN that he had new tips in his hair at the back, in a diamond pattern similar to what Dean Polo had earlier in the year. Bolton did treat McLean like a training cone in the first quarter or so, I remember discussion about how McLean was getting embarassed in the DT thread. McLean was much better after half time, but then again you could argue the entire last half was junk time so that wasn't a great achievement.

So, I reckon I got one wrong out of four. My apologies.

Bolton chopped Mclean up in the first half (partly due to Mclean's poor preparation and poor coaching leaving him down back)

Mclean got moved onto Kirk after that and kept him relatively quiet

You dont have to apologise mate your doing a good job. I just reckon that if your listening to it on the radio ( i mean this in a nice way ) dont even bother doing it, because you dont have to do it for all games.

Actually I did that Melbourne game off the telly with the sound down in the second half, and listened to the Hawks game on the radio. Not the best resourced operation in the world, I know, but I don't have the budget of the team behind afl.com.au. Or any budget at all, really. :D

Surely there would be a few people on here that would offer their services?

monty...

surely you are not able to do 2 games at the same time (ie radio and tv)?

i just assumed you had help.

if you do this by yourself i salute you and you are a freaken genius!

I do two games at once, yes, and that's why I make mistakes sometimes.

Surely no one can be bagging m0nty for maybe making 1 or two mistakes here and there. He provides a fantastic service to you all and might i add for free.
No doubt it is very hard to update it as frequently and accurately as he does solely on his own. I for one give a big thank you to m0nty.

wow =.= how are you able to keep up with teh scores of two games at the same time... your amazing
The scores are electronically updated in real time. (No-one's that good). We're talking about the icicle/sun symbol or the little note thingy. These are in game notes added for our benefit.

They are informative - although sometimes they relate to an early part of the match and later they become obsolete.

All in all, I prefer to have them there; even with some degree of inaccuracy, they are better than no extra information at all. :thumbsu:

Now that's dedication. We appreciate your hard work.:thumbsu:
