But in September 2018, he uploaded a video of himself and a friend at the footy screaming "F--- you, you f---ing c---s, let's go" with the caption "F--- these c---s".

I wouldn't want to be sitting near him! It does seem likely that he behaved himself on Monday, but as he has acted badly in the past, the police stepped in and warned him this time.

Unfortunately, even though this damning evidence has come out, and the AFL released a statement saying (among other things) "There has been no directive from the AFL to change this." and "In season 2019 there has been no change to the expectations of the behavior of everyone at games." there'll still be people (I'm not referring to you, BTW) who prefer to think that the AFL is the bad guy in all of this!!

I've made the effort to better understand political correctness.. so I've spent the last coupla hrs on Brunswick St with the mouhles. Went to a vegan restaraunt for pets.. now I'm on my way to a cafe with a Jim Jess duffle coat and a rusted old bike that annoys the f out of folk who travel to work every morning.. did a bit of window shopping as well.. saw a nice set of old rusted cutlery and a singer sewing machine.. really quite lovely.

The social media posts have been bought up to discredit him.
And yes, during the 2018 GF he was over the top. But he wouldn’t have been on his own on that day.
And then there was the Essendon post. I assume, and it’s only an assumption, but I’m sure there was some egging on by Essendon supporters. Was it an Essendon home game? Was seating an issue?
Anyway, all that is irrelevant to this last incident at our last game.

I don't think he's lying at all about last weekend's incident, and I suggested that in the post you've quoted. He apparently has said that he doesn't swear at the football (he ran to the media and pleaded his innocence!), and that obviously isn't the case (he's been reported for using bad language previously, and the video in The Age article isn't a good look), so he is most certainly a liar.

I’m realising by this thread, I’m really lucky as the people I see around me (same faces etc) are Collingwood and terrific. Some funny stuff, some strong barracking but all in good ways.
There’s families and kids around, all seem in the right spirit.

Security asked him politely to tone it down a notch, he did.

I’ve found the gay stuff is long gone, but it might just be I’ve lucked a good area.

As an aside I remember in the nineties and older lady gave an almighty racial slur to an opposition player. Everyone around her told her in no uncertain terms, not on. Didn’t hear a squeak thereafter from her.
Was a great moment.
