The story and the game is magnificent but the forced Boss capture missions are a repetitive scenario that just kills the game IMO. Everything else I totally loved and Ubisoft created a natural open world wonder which is yet to be matched I reckon.Picked this up for $25 last week, never played a Far Cry game before. Am enjoying it but the story is getting in the way a bit. Every now and then I get captured out of the blue and have to endure some cutscenes and a bit of time on rails before they let me get back to it.
I am getting New Dawn soon which does not have these tedious boss capture missions and I fully expect I will love every minute of it!
I played Far Cry 5 for hours on end just exploring the open world as soon as I liberated an area of Peggies while totally being able to enjoy the scenery while being totally imerrsed in an open world Ubisoft created without the threat of the Peggie intrusions and this is when Ubisoft’s open world really comes to life.
