So if Melbourne don't make the semi finals, Farmer will miss Round 1 of the real season too. Feel sorry for Melbourne supporters, they would be feeling fairly frustrated with this.

I know it's been debated before, but inasmuch as I don't like the guy, I think it's unfair to include Ansett Cup suspensions in the H&A series. They should be kept entirely separate. Why not impose hefty financial penalties?
