Apparently young Ray is on the outer at the Doggies. Let's not forget that he was pick no. 4 in the 2003 draft so clearly there is some talent there...

Is it in our interests to pursue him???

Dangerous assumption.

I won't bore you with the entire list of guys picked in the top 10 who had talent at under 18's level but never made it.

Ray is better than "not made it", but you take my meaning.

Good player, worth a punt in the PSD if they let him go, won't be worth trading for.

I've watched enough moderately skilled, soft outside mids running around in my beloved CFC jumper in recent years thanks - NO MORE! ;)

Bit of a theme developing here, Dooky.

Does handpassing to a stationary teammate surrounded by opponents count as an effective disposal nowadays? That's the only way Fazza could be at 81%

Unfortunately, I think it does.

Also goes hand in hand with the ammount of uncontested possessions he racks up.

Uncontested Possessions: 220

What stood out for me, was the Contested v Uncontested Possessions, thats basically 8:1 ... compare that to Juddy

Contested Possessions 231
Uncontested Possessions 277

Almost 1:1 ...

There has been a few mentions of the word soft, with regards to Ray in this thread, purely based on those stats, maybe its justified...

FR is not a good prospect on latest form
Read the Dodgies message board
They rate him lower than Bulldog droppings. :thumbsd:

If you can get him cheap - throw him in as part of the Warnock deal.

Freo would have him ....he is fast and was a very good young WAFL player.

Kepler is going wonderful for us ...we may be tempted to have another go at a local boy coming home.

I thik we'll pass on Farren. He hit's his tragets less than Ryan Houlihan

Ryan Houlihan hits targets as well as any AFL player

How about 2 in 1? ;)
Hartlett to Doggies for Ray.
Ray + Blackwell to Freo for Warnock :thumbsu:

He wants to go home back to Perth, most likely Freo, there's no chance we'l get him even if we wanted him.
Hmmmm.......but do we have anything the Dogs want?

Ray to Freo
Warnock to Blues
Freo 3rd round pick and Blues second to Dogs?

Hartlett to Doggies for Ray.
Ray + Blackwell to Freo for Warnock :thumbsu:
Doggies will want more than Hartlett for Ray, and justifiably so.
