Opinion Fasolo experiment

You can have the best kick in the league in your back line, but is there is no movement ahead of the ball, it's useless.
Fasolo has proved that he is a very capable HFF.
If he is stationed there and roaming up to the wing, Cloke will be licking his lips.
It's the same argument I use with our kick outs.
If you have no movement further up field, you have no other option but to kick it to a contested situation.
Fasolo has to be used as an attacking, goal scoring forward in my opinion.
Blair is a waste of time there.
I'd love to see a forward line (with resting mids) as:

Fasolo Cloke Broomhead / Swan
White Reid Elliott

3 Talls, (1 able to be 2nd ruck if needed).
2 class Half Forwards.
And Elliott, who plays both tall and small.

If there is no movement ahead of the ball it doesn't matter where he plays. He'll have no options to kick to coming out of the backline and as a forward won't have any space to lead into and also most likely have crap delivery as our skills are poor.

With Buckley saying transition will be a focus or something along the lines of that I'm confident that problem will be fixed.

If there is no movement in the forward line, he will have a ton of space to lead into.
He should be on the end of the 2nd or 3rd kick as we are going forward.

We lack forwards, Fasolo plays his best football as a forward, hmm, where should we play him?:drunk:

With Fas I think the move down back did improve the defensive side of his game, and that should actually improve him as a forward too as he can add that defensive pressure you need to add inside 50 to be an AFL class forward these days.
Agree with this, although who's to say he'll never go down back?

With De Goey, Broomhead, Scharenberg and Freeman, Fasolo is a bit of a forgotten soul atm, however I think he's just as talented.

Will play forward for us, as he should given our lack of forward stocks, but if ever comes the time we need that class down back, there's every chance Fasolo will make it down there as well.
