Back to the OP, is either Kennedy or Foster actually playing footy, and therefore any chance of being F/S picks?

2014 is sounding good!

I cant find anything unfortunately so ill change the op to Father/Son Picks

BTW in addition to Wallis & Cordy part II there is a Dimmatina floating around at St Kevins

think you will see a lot of the F/S going to the same school to build friendships and help each other on the footy field.

Demetriou spoke about exactly that point only a couple of months back!

Basically, the gist of what he was saying is that they would look at the paper work, if the kid had been adopted at age 17, then of course no f/s rule applies.

Otherwise there would be no issue with it.

Thanks for clearing that up for us Josh, much appreciated.

Re Wallis the younger. I sat near Steve W., his missus, and a young lad [pretty clearly their son] during one of Mitch's first appearances in the RW&B.
Assuming therefore he is the younger brother, as he was about the right age.
He was obviously keenly interested in proceedings, which is a good start.
Darker hair, bit hard to say to much about his build, given the age difference, plus street clothes. Young enough to grow and change shape over a couple of years.

Perhaps only puppy fat, but he looked slightly thicker set, and possibly stronger framed than Mitch. But as I say a couple of teenage years might change a lot.

Eligible Father/Son Selections
Luke Kennedy - (2013 Draft)
Jayden Foster - (2013 Draft)
Zaine Cordy - (2014 Draft)
Josh Wallis - (2014 Draft)
Darcy MacPherson - (2015 Draft)
Jacob Smith - (2015 Draft)
Damn! No f/s picks in the years we are supposed to be peaking again (2016-17)
Rhylee West - (2018 Draft)
Sam Darcy - (2019 Draft)

They could be lean years at the draft table.

I'm still working on the list there might be but takes time

One word for the Lake family, turncoats

Isn't is appalling that we have to rely on father-son picks to get anything out of future drafts?
Do you think so? Surely you aren't suggesting we wont get anyone good out of drafts?

F/S are just exciting because of the prospect that we will get them on the cheap.
I love that aspect of our game, I think it's brilliant. And certainly of late it's really been working for us. I wonder if that has anything to do with our father son academy thing? I haven't heard of any other clubs doing what we do, so props to us for taking the initiative.

We may have been a bit spoiled though, some clubs rarely if ever get footballers from former players, and if they do, they are pretty shit. So thank you former player. Thank you.

Isn't there an Oliver Liberatore dominating his junior comp?
I could have sworn that Tom wasn't an only child.

Jacob Smith was the leading goal kicker in the Western Region League U/13's :thumbsu:
We share the same first name
therefore he will be a great player.

fak logic

A bit of tounge & cheek IMO. The reality is we have done poorly in the draft over the last 10 years in comparison, and its the F&S picks such as Libba and Wally which have saved us from complete capitulation

Ah yes, irony. The bane of internet users.
