I was always a fan of the Hard Yakka ads ... half a dozen blokes pulling a mining lorry up an incline by a rope ...

Can anyone remember the King Gee denim add when a group are at a dock needing a lift out to a boat?

King gee bloke- "Looks like two trips"

Rude man- "who asked you fella?"

King gee- "look i run this place i dont want accidents"

Then the rude bloke says either "Dont back chat me buddy I know Boats"...Or does he say " Dont tell me about boats i know boats"

He then tries to step in the boat and falls through it!

I have been having an on going arguement with my mates about what the guy actually says, the arguement has lasted nearly ten years!!!! Childish perhaps, but we just cant agree!!

The kid-interview one with the boy saying "his legs went that way, and his head went that way" always gets a laugh out of me.

That one's a ripper, always gets a laugh out of me too. There's so many good ads these days, if you don't have a really clever ad then you are usually the minority.

The main ones are the beer ones- XXXX, Hahn, Fosters, VB and Carlton Mids. The Telstra ads- YMCA ringtone and the other one with that guy in front of the store camera. Those 'Bugger' ads. I can't think of any others that haven't already been mentioned.. but I'm sure some will pop up on the tv soon enough!

I always thought the ad for Sleepmaker beds with the old lady cheerleader was a great laugh!
Another good one is for underwear, you know the one -
"Do the shopping, do the shopping, pick up the kids!"

Sorry, but ads with kids really ***** me, the insurance ad included (and the Oreo kid as well!) The big exception is the one for the smiley face potato cakes with the little girl handing them out to everyone - so cute! :D

HAHA! That oreo ad "Mom says chocolate's not good for dogs...but you can have my milk"!

Speaking of annoying ads, What the hell happened to that friggin Natural Confectionary ad? You know the one with those chicks comparing boys to their jelly confectionary.

Justin..Nigel..Sebastian! The bear....Ohhhh Jarrod! Sheesh! But the most annoying bit is with the blonde at the end when they have the snake..."Don't even say his name"...the way she says it comes out like 'nyme'

One of the best ads ever was that car ad where all the parts moved in a domino effect. Very clever!

And not forgetting a classic...'Aye, it'd delicious, but that's noooo how you make porridge!'

Here's a blast from the past :

"I'd like ..."
"A personal loan for a yacht."
"Big, isn't it."

Here's another :
"There you go Tim, you learn something new every day."
"Didn't learn nothing new yesterday."

Does anyone remember that "MAAAAATE!" "Maaaaaaaate!" AD with the phones? What was that for again?

I like the cricket ads with the three guys sitting on the couch. Also the beer ad with the tongue and it goes and gets the beer when the guy is sleeping.

Ads that really sh|t me are those Daikin (sp?) where the man says:
"Thanks for the coffee hon ..." and then
"What coffee?"
And the man looks up at the air conditioner.

Seen that one on ESPN a few times, Honda ad?? Been a few weeks since it's been on.

My favourites have been recently, the Bundy Bear ads. The drop bear one in particular.

Anyone remember the original Mortein ads with "Louie" the fly? "One spray and Louie the fly, apple of his old mother's eye was Louie, poor dead Louie ....."

I like the "Not happy Jan" ads and the Cougar ads (partic the "and a slice of lemon" one). Poor gormless twit.:D

Also, the Beaurepaire ad where the nerd says "Can I have a tyre for my Trojan?" to which Beau replies "I'd say that's a fair trade."

My favourite is the Sunsilk ad with the Collingwood boys. Bad acting but good for a perve.

TAZZA: "Gees you're a pretty boy"

Funny how both teams that were in that ad (Collingwood and Easts Subs Roosters) both lost the grand final. I just like to bring that up! :D

Tis a cursed ad I say...

When I was in England, there was an Ad for the New Austin Metro (980 cc) where this stunt driver was putting it through all its paces, and doing all sorts of crazy stuff, like driving on 2 (side) wheels between a double line of cars on a freeway, and at the end does a full handbrake turn to parallel park in a space on the other side of the road that was probably only six inches bigger than the car itself. Saw a "making of" show on that ad (only time I have ever seen one of those, and they did it all in one take, except for the parallel parking part, because he grazed the front car with his bumper because the margin for error was like 4 inches. It was and still remains the most amazing ad I have ever seen.

I had an older version of the same car and for a 1 litre engine it was the zippiest little car I have ever had.

What ad is that second one from? I have been trying to remember it for years.
