Favourite Beer?

Got in an argument with a mate over which beer was better.

Henikenn or Carlsberg.

I was on the Carlsberg bandwagon but it would be interesting what peoples all time favorite beer would be.

Any unknown beer anyone recommends?

As for the OP, I much prefer Carlsberg

I seem to buy Coopers Pale or Sparkling most of the time.

Perhaps not my favourite, but it's my favourite beer I can regularly afford.

Never had Bluetounge, was contemplating buying a slab last night but passed.

Been smashing Pure Blonde for a fair while now and have yet to get sick of it, great beer.

Pure Blonde has a distinct after taste of dirt, I reckon.

I'm only 18 and really only sampled the more 'mainstream' beers, heard a few good reviews of Coopers Pale though. Never seen it before though.

Heineken and Carlton Draught would be my favourite so far, Carlton cos it's cheap and it's pretty easy to get down.

Little Creatures Pale Ale is my favourite. Would put Heineken in my top 10 and above Carlsberg. People who love Pure Blondes really need to try some of the other low carb beers out there such as Cascade Green & Bavaria Blonde.

I reckon creatures bright ale is better than pale. I find pale almost too rich or strong or something like that, i cant put my finger on it but i just dont like it much. I regularly buy carlton, boags draught or super dry's as its all i can afford. Love getting like a boags premium or something on special though

I've tried many a boutique beer, more recently at Fed Square... but I always come back to the trusty Carlton Draughts. Kilkenny's would come in a close second, just to refresh the palate.
