Favourite non-aussie rules league?

I'm a general sports nut as I'm sure many of you are and I'll watch pretty much any sport. I've seen this done before with the AFL included which is always going to skew results on an aussie rules board. But I'm interested in which other leagues aussie footy fans follow most closely. For this reason I haven't included any state leagues like the WAFL, SANFL and VFL.

For me I'm a big fan of the NFL and NHL and as a soccer fan I follow the A League, La Liga and Premier League pretty closely. Not such a fan of the overly technical Italian league though. I've also started following Super 14 rugby pretty closely since the Force started. Love my international cricket but I'm a little indifferent towards domestic cricket.

I've gone for the English Premier League since, besides Freo, Liverpool are my team that I'd most like to see win a premiership. How about the rest of you? Or are you only interested in aussie rules?

I chose EPL but only coz I could choose one, I love sports of all shapes and size, I even get live Dutch league(eredivisie) matches broadcast on the net as well as CFL(Canadian football league), Greek super league and Argentine league games aswell.

I follow Chelsea in the EPL and the Bengals in the NFL but really these days it's only a passing interest where I check out the scores but that's about it. AFL is the only sport I follow religiously.

Love watching the epl, spanish league and german league. NBA, NHL, MLB are all good. Like the NRL and super 14 and are waiting for the a-league to come onto free to air. All in all I love my sports.

Don't really follow any other league except Pura Cup cricket. Those who go for teams in an overseas league, especially Soccer in England are pathetic. Do have a slight interest in NFL and MLB though, because of family from USA who have got me into it.

Why? It is possible to like sports from overseas you know. Soccer fans are naturally going to be attracted to European leagues since that's where the worlds best players play.

Or are you only allowed to support teams from where you live? Aren't you an eagles fan in Tasmania?

Considering my uncle came from Manchester and took me to a Reds game when I was seven I think I have a right to support the devils. Make sure you know what you're talking about before you make sweeping statements.

Nothing compares to the AFL for me. But I do enjoy watching a bit of EPL (especially the highlights show) and the NTFL and SANFL on ABC2(for some different footy).
