Favourite Simpsons epidode(s)

Can't believe this thread hasn't been done or if it was I missed it. I'll get the ball rolling with a few of my personal faves -

The Two Uncie Herb episodes - The second part was on tonight actually, the best part was when Herb went bankrupt while playing Monopoly and Homer said "Broke again hey Herb, just like in real life I guess your just not a very good businessman" Another good part was when Joe Frazier beat up Barney out the front of Moe's.

The Softball episode - An oldie but a classic, got to love Wonderbat and those Major League ringers.

The Bigger Brother episode - An absolute side splitter from start to finish, "I love you Pepsi". LOL

The Boxing one - Whe Homer fights the Tyson clone Dredrick Tatum for the title after defeating numerous Hobos, the funniest part was when his press conference doubled as his parole hearing.

My favourite episode from the Simpsons is the one where Marges Aunty dies and they are going to the funeral and Lisa, Bart and Homer are singing, then Marge goes 'Homer, we are on our way to a funeral' and they start singing 'Ding Dong the witch is dead!!' ahaha that is a bloody ****er!

My favourite quote from The Simpsons was where Homer and Bart were talking, and Homer said to Bart, "I'd like to say a few words, but then I'd be a good public speaker!!"

That line always cracks me up and I'm going to use it the next time I have to do a talk!!

I also liked the episode where Homer was playing Mr Burns' head like the bongos, and when the one where Mr Burns joined the bowling team but when he bowled, it went only a few centimetres because he had no strength!! LOL!!

I'd have to rate the one where Bart get's punished and can't see the Itchy & Scratchy Movie.

Homer: "I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 50"
Marge: "Is it 37?"
Homer: "D'oh!... I mean.. nooo"

Homer: "If you don't start talking properly we're gonna put you in a home"
Grandpa: "You already put me in a home!"
Homer: "OK, we'll put you in the crooked home we saw on 60 Minutes"
Grandpa: "I'll be good.."

Homer: "Son, when I was your age I wanted a catchers mitt, but my dad wouldn't let me have one, so I held my breath till I passed out and banged my head on the coffee table. Doctor thought I might have brain damage."
Bart: "Dad; what's the point of this story?"
Homer: "I like stories"

Homer: "The trick to getting out of jury duty is to say you're prejudice against all races."

I didnt mind last nights when Homer won the award. "The first annual Montgomery Burns award for lifetime achievement in the field of excellency." That awards ceremony was hilarious!

They are all pretty much my favorite but probably the ones that stand out for me is the one where Lisa is little miss springfield:

Homers just explaining to give women compliments:
Bart: Hey dad you know anything else about women?
Homer: No, thats it.

Also the one where Homer borrows money from Patty and Salma.
I forgot who said which, but its something liek this:
Patty: First, you can treat corn county (homer's rubbing their feet)
Salma: Then you can move on to Bunyon country.

Is there honestly a Simpsons Episode which you have NEVER laughed at? I'm actually finding it funnier the older I get!

I love the episode they repeated the other night where Maggie was put in a nursery while Marge was doing Streetcar Named Desire, and Maggie rescues all the dummies. I would actually love to see each of the characters age a little, Maggie is such a little character - its about time she had more focus

Oh and I have a Simpsons problem

For a few years I've had one episode in the back of my head which I want to see - but I swear its the only one that hasnt been repeated - I NEED HELP.

I cant remember what the main theme of the episode is - but through a bit of it - homer is plagued by the good and evil homer both trying to sway him in what he says and does

Have I lost everyone yet?

I know what one your talking about...but i cant remember the episode either. Ill see if i can find it somewhere

YES the evil homer one. (Sorry forgot to mention that bit the first time!). Every time I go out drinkink when I know I shouldnt be, I end up singing that to myself ALL night

There's so many but the one I really love is the Monorail episode.

Especially where Mayor Quimby introduces the Star Trek guy(sorry never watched it)with:

"May The Force Be With You".


Also when Marge finds a scientist to help Homer stop the monorail.

And finally:

Quite like the Gabbo episode too but they never seem to play it.
I'd say I've only seen it twice or do I just keep missing it?

I'm not sure how but there is this one epidode where homer ends up in a retirement home. They feed him, they even roll him over in his bed. He says "I can't believe all this time that I have been wasting my lungs breathing for myself" (whilst he is hooked up to the respirator)

I also like the one where he decides to get fat so he can work at home due to his disability. When he turns on the computer it says hit any key. "hmmm where's the any key"

The only one that comes to mind at the moment though is when Lisa is playing in the talent quest at school and homer has to pick up the thing for the saxopohone on the way
