What was your favourite win for the 2010 season

For me it was the win over Stkilda, we hadn't beaten them in a number of years and they have been up the top for a while now
2nd the Geelong win , similar reasons to Stkilda but we beat them last season so it wasn't quite as satisfying as the Stkilda win
3rd the win over Essendon, we should have beaten them a number of times recently but haven't - I hate losing to the filth

I enjoyed the Saints win most (god I hate those Saints) and Geelong & Essendon were nice too. .. Several lackluster wins in there, apart from those three I mentioned the losses stick with me more. .. Hawks, Bombers, Brisbane and both swans losses were just bad to watch. .. both Collingwood losses made things worse, we better knock them off this year. ..

Loved the St.Kilda win. Not just because we thumped the runners-up or because we hadn't beaten them for many years, but rather because it was actually a great game to watch, and a really entertaining one.

The wins over Essendon and Brisbane would come a close second. Just because we really stuck it up Knights' and Fev's you-know-what.

I would have to say the Geelong game for me. Absolutely hate them with a passion.

The best bit was actually being there watching the game and then bagging out my gf's family on the way home because they were so certain Geelong would win.

Lovely day that was. :)

The win over the Bombers was great, because I hate that team so much, and one of my best friends supports them and loves to talk shit about how they're so much better than Carlton. The Cats win was great as well, as they are another team that I really hate, but my little brother is a Cats fan, so I felt sorry for him.

Those were two great wins, but for my vote, I chose Juddy's Brownlow win. I was in Darwin on holiday with my family at the time, we had great weather and it was one of the happiest times of my life. I remember thinking Swan would win it, but we sat down in the caravan and watched it on TV, and when it was official that he had won it, it just made a perfect time of my life even more perfect.

I have a feeling we'll get alone just fine :)

I forgot to add that Judd's brownlow win was great as well because the gf's family also hates Carlton and kept complaining that he didn't deserve it.

Cocky Geelong supporters :thumbsd:

vs Geelong
vs St Kilda
vs Essendon

Judd Brownlow

Which have all been mentioned previously, but they're hard to top.

Especially the Judd Brownlow, I gave it to so many opposition supporters over the following 12 hours, it was insane. :D

I'd say the Geelong game as well, just because they were the bench mark at the time and it was such a sweet victory. It was hard to split as I loved the Saints and the Essendon win.

The St.Kilda win for mine .
The fact that such a pathetic club and even more pathetic supporters had been crowing about a few recent wins despite thier overall deplorable record against the Blues really gave me the shits !
Order has been restored and the next decade should see us hand that tragic mob many more thrashings that they so rightfully deserve !

Cats. Yazza's goal 50 out on the boundary was special.

Saints next. Absolutely ripping into my mates was my personal highlight of the year.

Geelong and St Kilda were both amazing games but NOTHING compares to redemption.. absolutely smacking those black and red feral flogs to the point of annihilation was the greatest feeling I've ever felt since the fev show. I honestly can't remember losing my voice at the football like i did that night, getting into any more fights with w***er bomber supporters (who all collectively have no clue about football) or ever singing the song that many times. It's made me crave 17 to be at the peril of the bombers. If you haven't picked up I REALLY FRICKEN HATE ESSENDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Geelong for mine.

Closely followed by Essendon and St.Kilda.

For reasons beyond my control I could only attend 5 games last year. But one was Geelong with my 2 brothers. F*ck that was a great day.

When Carrazzo kicked that goal, and gave that cheaky smirk to Stanton was the nearly the best moment for me in the decade.

When Joseph kicked that long goal, and all the boys started jumping together, with Judd sorta of amongst it, I realised how these boys are so close.

Essendon for mine, and the first 5 mins in the last quarter and Warnock tapping it down the midfielders throats was something I havnt seen in since I was born.

Geelong - they knew we were able to beat them and would have planned accordingly. Beat a great side who were expecting us. Shows the massive improvements we have made and the signs of things to come.

Saints - we have come so close recently and the game the year before where Judd had his nose broken as we were on the cusp of beating them during their big run of wins was heartbreaking stuff. The Monkey is off the back.

Bummers - hate them with passion almost matching the Pies. It is good to beat them ...anywhere .... in any game. Bunch of smartass supporters who need to feel the pain of losing to us constantly for the next decade or more. Still wont shut them up, but it will make me feel better.

I was the same. I was so stoked that he won it. I was on holiday in Darwin watching the Brownlow on TV in a caravan, and after he won it, I ran to my cabin to get my phone and texted "JUDDY YOU ****ING GUN!!!" and sent it to every non-Carlton fan that I know.

Ahhhh, good memories. :D

Owies.

For me it has to be the game against the Linton St Rabble.

Enjoyed it thoroughly & the Jamaican relay time were unbelievable.
Just watching Yaz & Garlett taking on the rabble from the boundary line was just amazing.

Second would have to be the Scum game smashing them into oblivion & to see the look on the Albino & Campo's faces in the coaches box was priceless.

The first Richmond game, was there and loved watching it happen again! Then the Geelong and Stkilda games respectfully. Geelong game because I took a girl and was sure we were going to lose (In hindsight I think taking a girl to the football was a bad decision anyway as she never returned my calls) probably pumped up the win to much with the boys!
The St Kilda game because I was at a St Kilda fans house and just didn't expect it either, god we smashed them!

The best part of the Rd 1 Richmond game was all the speculation about our new recruits and our 'unpredictable' forward line.

Yarran, Waite, Henderson and Mclean all kick goals in the first quarter.

Was awesome.

Whilst the Saints game was great I voted for the Geelong match.

The first time in a long while we controlled a game from start to finish against bona fide competition.

Hoping it is a sign of things to come for 2011! :thumbsu:
