Still leaves him with a premiership medallion. And S.O.O. isn't a joke. Last year it wasn't as big because a) Too many games b) Internationals were on at the same time so the absolute best were elsewhere. This season it's the best of the best in a straight forward knock-out in both forms of the comp.

It's because I've never spoken to you before & the first thing time you respond to soemthing i've written you give it waaaaa waaaaaa with some roll eyes.

If you are serious about wanting me to explain I will, I've been part of tis comp since the very start, if the batting gets too dominant over the bowling then the thing doesn't play as well.

I think all the captains would agree that they want to be able to use their judgement to try to win, but when games are run fests what often happens is that the side who batted first, who may have got a 1st innings lead are going well in their second but time runs out so the sim puts in a generous declaration & you end up losing a game that you dominated.

Those kind of games are pretty unsatisfactory.

In pre-season most of the games that I looked at were run fests as the Freo-Queensland game was appearing to be so I was voicing my concerns, believe it or not because I want the comp to be as good as possible.

A lot of people have said that what i was worried about isn't the case, people who've run a lot of games so I accept their judgement.

I don't care too much about my personal form I just want my team to win, if it's harder for bowlers it will be hard for all of them but some bowlers will still do better than others so it's not going to change anything there.

I don't start wars on here, I just find myself having to launch a lot of counter attacks, I could do without it really.

I'm talking about those certain kind of matches, also as there's no home advantage now, you'll se away sides putting up a better show.

But really, with the new averages there wasnt any incentive to stay as an allrounder, being a bowler was the only thing to do really. The bat has dominated all the games i've seen so far and its a bit worrying.
