Has it been determined yet what jumper Brisbane will wear when they play Collingwood?

I am going to be heading down for this game, and am keen to catch up with as many of you as I can.

Probably easier to meet afterwards and have a jar or two.


Any suggestions?
 
On the Lions website today, there is a mention of the fact that they are still working on it for Round 19 with Russell Athletic.

Russell Athletic have just renewed their contract with the Lions for a further 3 years.
 
You really wonder what their problem is. Thank God the Fitzroy Reds will be wearing the Fitzroy Jumper. No doubt there will be a big press release a week before the game and they will be wearing the 1935 Haydn Bunton jumper! After the Scot Palmer revelations, who cares. Why not wear a Bears jumper and be done with it.

Just read on the Age website that Brisbane will wear a roys jumper against Collingwood.

I reckon we need to get a strategy as to how we are all going to link up either before/during/after the match.

I am very keen to have lots of beer and lots of singing.

The post 1974 jumper appears to be the most popular choice, going by a vote on the VLSG website. We'd like a few more votes from Roys supporters, so if you can set aside some time to vote, we'd be most appreciative. The results will be sent to the Brisbane Lions in the next fortnight.
 
Me too. Most of the Roys games I saw were in that jumper. It will also be consistent with the Reds jumper, from earlier in the day.

I voted for the 50's - 73 jumper.

I reckon the dark maroon and blue will look good, and will look even better when they beat the filth from Carringbush.

Initially, I prefered the 96 re-enactment jumper because it was the very first. It is pre Federation and a powerfull image of the
foundation of 113 years of history but when everyone started to refer to the white ffc jumper as the "Kevin Murray jumper" it occured to me that we must take every opportunity to celebrate
our living legends.
As far as the day itself goes, myself and a few other
ex-backboners plan to kick off the day at the Brunswick St Oval
around 8am, have a few then move down to the Old Colonial and
have a few more and so on down to the G. Has worked well the past two Grand Final days, but we will have to leave earlier this year to catch the Reds.All welcome.
