"If I got drafted again I would be drafted with minimum chis...." ;)

I reckon you could get him to go to carlton with an instant termination clause in his contract for inappropriate behavior. If he comes to carlton and stuffs up, drop him straight away and his career is over. He wouldnt cost much, and wouldnt be too much of a risk.

We need a key forward, our window is open. People need to be a little forgivign and allow him to redeem himself.

I say if we lose to Essendon, there a good chance it's goodbye Ratten and hello Fevola . I be ringing Janine Pratt if they break down forward.

You are an idiot if you honestly believe there's a good chance of Fevola returning to Carlton, regardless of what happens against Essendon.

He's finished in Navy Blue. No chance he'll be back. Forget it.

Gotta agree, everyone knows the only person at Carlton that wants him back is Mrs. Pratt. He has kept his nose clean this year and kicked a few goals in the VFL.

I hope he gets a second chance but it is seeming less and less likely a team will pick him up.

Wrong I want him back, he did his time,he deserve a second chance, he was made to look stupid in the brownlow, and didn't know better that people wanted him to act that way, He was kind of set up, he had personal problems no one knew.

He had low self esteem and don't tell me the guys on the footy show didn't want him to act like a goose. They were like drug dealers pumping him to do something silly, then they all distant themselves, when it all got totally out of hand. Those gooses and the AFL, knew he had a drinking problem and still invited him. I reckon Brendan should sue the AFL for work damages and especially emotional damages from the event.

Brendan isn't a perfect person and the AFL being this healthy brand, should ban all Alcohol in such events like The Brownlow Medal. Alcohol is a drug and personally should be treated like a drug, as it has no benefit in the human body.

The closest Fev will ever come to being Navy blue again is attending Carlton games.

Starry I can't see how you could possibly claim that nobody knew of his issues. They've been very well documented before and since. If anything, the public doesn't truly know the extent of his problems. However, I am one hundred percent positive that the club knows everything there is to know about Brendan Fevola. I also firmly believe that nobody at the club wishes ill will towards him, that they're as supportive as they can be towards him yet understand that under no circumstances can or will Brendan Fevola ever be welcomed back at the club in a playing capacity. It's time that we moved on. It's not going to happen no matter how much some fans would welcome him back.

You can ring Jeanne Pratt all you like. It's out of her hands. Every player on every club that I have seen speak of Brendan Fevola has said that they wish him luck, that they hope he gets back into the AFL so long as it is not at their club. I think that the only team(s) that would take a risk on him are GWS as a publicity stunt (similar to the old Sydney Swans getting former stars well past their prime, parade them out and capitalize on their publicity) or a team whose coach has a massively over inflated ego that thinks that they can tame him. Michael Voss thought he could do it and he failed. This year he was lucky to hold onto his job - many wanted him gone.

If Fev comes back to Carlton, then we will have to get rid of the entire board of directors at the club as well as the entire coaching staff and the playing staff. No one wants him back at the club.

Even he has said that he will never be back at the club.

Even if we lose to the scum, then Ratts still gets a 1 year extension to his contract... if we win, he gets 1+1... a 1 year extension with a 1 year option.

The only way he (Ratts) would lose his job now is if the TEAM loses by more than 10 goals... and I dont think that will happen.

But there will be stupid idiots always be banging on about how badly we need Fev... despite the advances the club has made without him over the course of the last 2 seasons.

At Casey in team meetings he still acts like a little kid, making faces behind the coaches backs and laughing when someone says "balls".

Did the same at Carlton.

Still...get him back!!!!!!!!!!!! HIS A GUN FF AND WE COULD GET HIM FOR NOTHING!!!!!

Would rather develop some of your blokes who are coming through.

We have some sensational talent for next year - some were injured, sent for surgery, having Fevola back would put these guys in jeopardy..

I ask you - would you prefer Fevola at the club next year or a Jonathon Brown exploding into the AFL - because thats what our options are........

100% correct.

Ratten and Murphy have publicly stated that Fevola will not be at the club next year. Murphy's words are a clear indication that Fevola lost his team mate's trust and respect.

He's a Carlton legend and will be remembered as so. But he lives in a bygone era and is incapable of performing to the required standard. A leopard can't change its spots. He's gotten away with so much for so long. If we throw him a lifeline AGAIN it just re-affirms he can do whatever he wants and not live with the consequences.

He will never play for Carlton again. Ever.

This is the crux of the whole matter... if we take Fev back, it will just reinforce in his mind that he can do whatever he wants and Carlton will always forgive him.

The consequences of his actions finally caught up with him at the Brownlow in 2009 and he has to live with them. If he had wanted to stay as a blue, then he should have grown with the rest of the team. You cant be a kid forever.

who is this janine Pratt you will be ringing ???

Fev is history ...and only peanuts like you can't accept reality.
There a good chance he will be back next year with another coach. Ratten better get the players up and firing, and not choke Sunday like the previous 2 finals. Fev has little chance while Ratten Coaching. Carlton lose by 1 point he will get the chop, 1 point to 100 point it don't matter a win result is only acceptable. There no excuses of injuries or whatever, we are a better side by near 8 goals and should win comfortable. Pul Roos wants to coach again and has a interest in Carlton games. He is a terrific Coach in the waiting and so is Mick Malthouse and even Leigh Matthews if he would continue again.

How many times does it have to be said? He won't be back. We get it, you don't like Ratten.
Give it a rest.

You really think that it's just Ratts blocking his way?

What about the president and directors who got rid of him?

What about the players who've clearly moved on if you listen to their comments on the subject? They're not saying "not my area" or "leave that up to the coaches", they're saying no, we won't be going there.

As for your scenarios ...

Roos refused to take him already.

Malthouse refused to take him.

Matthews has described the problem of managing Fevola in the same way as he describes the problem of managing Aka, and he wouldn't do it either.

Face it, the one fool who would take him was Michael Voss. Thankfully Crazy Vossy is not our coach.

Just give up. It's sad.

Dream on....seriously...Paul Roos.

No FEV again at Carlton and Ratten a 2 year extension. Stop bleating

My Father-in-law's partner is a long time Carlton employee. Everything in this post saying that he will never play there again, and also saying that we only ever heard about a fraction of his misdemeanours is 100% correct.

Fev isnt going to be back at the blues ever... no one wants him at the club.

A new coach is going to have to put down a very emphatic business plan to win everyone over if he wants to recruit Fevola.

Now... you need to get over this obsession you have with Fevola at Carlton. It is bordering on stalker territory and you are starting to get very scary with it. Maybe you have a massive amount of man on man love for Fev and want to hump his leg or something, but you need to get over it
