Would be a great pickup, imagine Richo,Brown & Fev all in the same forward line ! Def have the room in the salary cap but what could we offer the Blues ?

like we would the eagles, a hard running CHB that can play at HFas well in Morrison.

Big worry I have is it would force Richo back out to CHF full-time and stifle Pattisons development. Still have to worry on Simmo/Staff/Knobel set-up.
But big advantages too and where-a-will - a-way.
$1.4m over 3 is a bit stiff too
Attitude is a prob as well, but when on song....

:) DOES no one get it. In all the thousand plus trades being andied around, 99.9% end with the tag and "we'll throw in Morrison". I think we need to wake up to the fact that Morrison's value is zilch. If anyone wanted him, they would be smart enough to wait until he was delisted and they could take him wityh a late pick in the draft or in the pre-season and give away nothing. He has not trade value whatsoever.
You only get something good if you give away something good.
For Morrison, we'd get a similar valued reserves player from the Bullants or Box Hill.

:)

with all our youngsters at the moment it could be the worse thing we could do

how do you come up with that? how does getting a FF that can kick us bag of goals, ontop of the Richo goals and the Brownie goals have anything to do with all our yougsters?

who is throwing Morrison in? Morro is a gun and i cant understand why we are going to trade him but will bow to the higher forces at tigerland withtheir new direction. Morrison is purely a victim of circumstances, in that the coach that recruited him, had himear marked for a role, and the new coach has a different blue print of playing style, that Morro doesnt fit into. Will be sorry to see him go, but I will not stand in the way of progress. ;)

i see we kind of forget that attitudes change with players, and you dont have to look far to see examples of bad body language, when you play in a team winning spoons.

I am not suggesting we pull out all stops to get him, all I am suggesting that the last time we had a chance to get a FF that could kick us 70+ goals we missed it by a bees #&(k , and the next couple of years were ruing it in fact would have pulled us a flag.
The bottom line is is the money worth the extra scoring power? That is the big question that would be flooding the think tanks of all rival clubs right now.

Me thinks if not us, and I dont think it will be us, but me thinks the pies have their man. ;)

Could be right Cogga + yeah Plugga woulda been pretty awesome
Fevs not that good, but part really wants him and part says no way
but
Brown, Richo, Petts
Foley, Fev, Krak

looks good on paper

talking of headcases did any of you read in the paper about ty zantuck buying a restaraunt with his dad to help him setup for life after football, obviously next year

not his goals that are the worry its his attitude and lack of brains that could influnce our youngsters....wouldnt be the 1st idiot to ruin a young players career....ie ox at melb with travis johnstone, who got lost in gambling etc for a few years

We'd be stuipid not to take it

Ray Hall has done really good this year but if we did a trade involving him for fev with picks involved i wouldnt mind at all, schulz to go backline

imagen this forward line

Pettifer, Fevola(yes keep him at CHF hes good at goals from outside 50), Tambling

Brown, Richo, Pattison/Stafford

and then deledio, rodan, krak whoever else is there rotating aorund

...Malouf denied the Blues had embarked on informal talks last week with several clubs, including Hawthorn and Richmond, in an attempt to off load Fevola

Not sure how Fev and Richo would go in the same forward line, given that Whitnall and Fevola didn't seem to be able to click together. Wouldn't want to give up a first round pick for him either. Maybe we could get him cheaper if we agreed to take on his whole salary - most other clubs would want Carlton to cover some of it.
