FOOTBALLERS can make some amazing revelations, especially Brendan Fevola, who went into great detail yesterday about the tablets he's taking for a sore back.

Fevola told Triple M's Pete and Myf breakfast show that anti-inflammatory tablets are usually taken with a glass of water and swallowed.

He said the club doctor had given him bullet-shaped tablets. "You deposit them in an area where you shouldn't deposit things," Fevola

He's been told that makes tablets 60 per cent more effective than swallowing them.

I'd probably just take 2 tablets the standard way.

I dont think Fev would give 2 hoots, but he has certainly left himself wide open for some serious flak with this 1.

I can see the opposition banners already

"FEV................................. pain in the arse!"
or
"Fev take a pill mate!!!!"

Oh well, he enjoys the attention:thumbsu:

Brendon's just too dumb to realise that the "tablets" are zucchini and his doctor is a Collingwood supporter...:D:D

actually true, better fluid reabsortion and works faster if taken from the "nether regions" than taken orally but still I'd better happy to double the dose and go the more traditional method...

"Here you go Fev! Take this placebo, erm, suppository for your bruised heel..." - Club doctor.
They are suppositories which melt. It's not as if you have to insert an actual tablet! There is nothing to it really.
Speak for yourself.

I expect dinner and a movie before I take medicine that way.

Your in pain for a shortwhile...then it melts (and you feel better)
