i heard a rumour that since john brown has turned down 3mil from cwood, apparently we are now after brendan fevola from carlton, since he is coming out of contract at the end of the year...

Its part of the problem. Tarrant is not a key forward. Rocca is always injured and the others are not ready.

na i think fev could be a great inclution offer him say 450-500,000 coz his a 70-80 a year goal kicker and then look for a midfielder thats proven that his got the talent and offer say 500 as well theres the 1 mil that we were talking about offering brown.

i believe that tarrant isnt a full forward i think he should be second option in the forward line or move him completely and chuck him on a wing.

Next year is what we have to look at now. With a fit Rocca and Tarrant we have Richards to ruck which leave Fraser as third tall and changing ruck. We also have C2 & C3 as potential CHF's. We have Morrison and Walker who may make it although I'd say that was unlikely.

Forget forwards. We need midfielders with pace and footskills. I'd make a big fat offer to Aka. I don't much like the bloke but he is what we need. Del Santo for our first round pick if we score a priority pick would be a good deal. Stevens in the PSD for a big sign on fee would be nice.

Fevola can play but he has attitude and brain problems and plays in a position where he could only make a marginal difference. He wouldn't be worth the trade or salary price for us.

I get the feeling that Collingwood dont like players who make a DH of themselves in public.

Eddie loves them on the footy show but I dont think they tolerate them at the club.

He would be an idiot? There is such a thing as loyalty remember. No chance of him moving if you ask me. collingwood have to learn to raise players from a young age instead of relying on trying to poach established players from other clubs.

Also i dont think tarrant is a full forward or centre half forward, his more of a forward pocket sort of a player...fevola would be a wonderful inclusion....i hope eddie is reading this.....GET FEVOLA EDDIE!!!!!!

aka, hate the bloke, he is the first guy i hope one of i guys goes through when we play them, but, your spot on, pacy midfielder who can deliver inside 50 with skill. stevens?? i'm presuming you mean nick, if so, yes please very much, very nice addition he would be. but i dont think we can expect to land any of those three, dal santo being the other. but just one will be of great benefit. one of them plus hurn????

Good work pies. Go 4 the quick fix again. Get some good kids and save the money. Develop your own stars. Richmond was guilty of this with johnson and Brown but were over it now.

DAYLIGHT
2. Defence
3. Ruckmen
4. Forward

The reason we went after jon Brown is because he is Jon Brown! One of only 5 or so true, consistant matchwinners in the comp. I would be severely disapointed if we signed Fevola.
