senior within the club, you can delete, but will not change the facts

club is very coy about this one, treating it as though it is a week to week proposition but it is not, remember the egan finals series propaganda, in the end he did not play but it was played out over a number of weeks

The club isn't just being coy to blindside us. I was told by Balme that Egan would be ready by round 8. He was starting to run 3 weeks ago, he was photographed running the boundary.

So the propaganda as you put it, was probably going to be right, but the setback happened.

Ottens will be back, just leave it at that and stop introducing the ridiculous rhetoric everytime you hear something. Most importantly stop referring yourself in the third person, you may think it is easier to pat yourself on the back as such but you just end up looking like a fool.

Whatever else is going on with the Gump, wouldn't surprise me at all if he's right about Otto.

This situation has got no better over several weeks now - what possible reason is there to suspect that it's suddenly going to improve?

Really hope Otto comes right soon, but I'm taking the 1-2 weeks the same way I've taken it since round 2. Slim chance at best...

Big challenge for Blakey to rise to the occasion - he can ask for no better opportunity to prove his worth than carrying the number one job week in, week out.

In terms of getting the supporters a fair picture of what's going on here, Otto's injury status should not go under weeks, but the catch-all 'indefinite'. I don't think the club has any idea when he might play again...

Is there a surgical procedure associated with alleviating plantar fasciitis?

Not really. I think they can go in and do something, but rest is the best way around it. Unfortunately working it up all the time doesn't help, only causes further inflamation to the tear.

johnson 70/30 chance of not playing and prismall will come in for him

club will be cautious, don't want to risk anyone

If you are indeed correct FG this is the perfect day for Prismall as the speed will be taken out of the game so he can use all the other strengths he has.

Lets say Ottens dosen't play for the rest of the season, I wouldn't like our chances of going back to back. He is the most important player of our team behind Scarlett.

yes ..he said next week or the week after:thumbsu:but we have heard it b4:(

Bomber said pretty much the same thing on K-Rock after the game.

As did Stokes on MMM before the game. Stokesy also said that he trained with Otto this morning doing some fitness work and kicking. Guess that is a positive.

If SJ had've been out,as well as Stokes missing, they would not bring in Prismall. It would've been one of the other 2,probably Varcoe.

Sack your info. He's full of more crap than a Werribee sewerage farm.

mate, if your not going to give us a source, dont be so defensive about people rubbishing your story. and dont try to make yourself sound so important by saying how confidential it your sources are, it's just piss weak.

at least Forrest is providing something decent for the forum to discuss. Go Forrest!

as for Ottens I want the Clarke Keating scenario: Big man out all year injured and then comes in side by about round 20 and warms up for finals

Ottens is so good that you wouldn't waste him on a regular season match. It would make it too easy for our midfielders
