The club isn't just being coy to blindside us. I was told by Balme that Egan would be ready by round 8. He was starting to run 3 weeks ago, he was photographed running the boundary.

So the propaganda as you put it, was probably going to be right, but the setback happened.

This situation has got no better over several weeks now - what possible reason is there to suspect that it's suddenly going to improve?

Really hope Otto comes right soon, but I'm taking the 1-2 weeks the same way I've taken it since round 2. Slim chance at best...

Big challenge for Blakey to rise to the occasion - he can ask for no better opportunity to prove his worth than carrying the number one job week in, week out.

In terms of getting the supporters a fair picture of what's going on here, Otto's injury status should not go under weeks, but the catch-all 'indefinite'. I don't think the club has any idea when he might play again...

Not really. I think they can go in and do something, but rest is the best way around it. Unfortunately working it up all the time doesn't help, only causes further inflamation to the tear.

As long as he's back by say round 17 to develop some touch for the finals I don't think it matters a whole heap when he comes back. If we go into the finals without him it'll put a lot of extra pressure on our midfield.

If SJ had've been out,as well as Stokes missing,they would not bring in Prismall.It would've been one of the other 2,probably Varcoe.

Ottens is so good that you wouldn't waste him on a regular season match. It would make it too easy for our midfielders
