So how would we do a Bigfooty 10 vs 10 online thingymajig? I'm on PS3 btw.

Would be awesome if we can set something up.

Has anyone here started a bigfooty online league?

i got it yesterday.

one thing that caught my attention was the lack of visual changes. graphics are pretty similar, menu (both ingame and otherwise) are almost identical to 08, in fact the only main difference i noticed was the gameplay - and there's a big difference.

seems they've concentrated on gameplay for once... seems better although the jury is out until i get use to it :)

only played 2 quick games last night.. found it more challenging to get scoring opportunities, although the ones i did get ended up being easy 1 on 1 counter attacks..

i found the menu (where you can do subs/formations/tactics) much better and easier to use than in 08. it's all on one page/sub menu! great stuff.

the main menu yes is practically the same.

selecting teams confused me when i started. i thought after choosing my team i couldnt change the opponent (how wrong i was).

because i was shit at the game (in 08) i couldn't unlock any shirts or balls. nice to see them readily available now.

yes agree, scoring chances were harder to come by. got tackled a lot just outside the box. everything's quicker now i find.

POSITIVES:
- the ability to put more weight on the ball when passing
- one-two passes
- more realistic
- passes don't always go to feet of players (when pressing X on ps3)
- bigger players can bump short people off the ball (going for headers or general play)
- sliding passes when the ball is almost out of reach!
- goal celebrations!

NEGATIVES
- can't think of any as yet.

i wanna go home to play it NOW *stamps feet*
 
I don't think servers are up yet but I could be wrong. I read on another forum you can only play online against others on your mates list.

Played this for hours with a mate last night, it is a very good game. Played as Adelaide United which was brilliant and two player Be A Pro!

Long weekend in Adelaide too, how good is the timing! I'm here till 4, gonna be a longggggg day.

used the Victory last night against some league 1 team, got the W.

hardest part was trying to fit in fabiano, archie, hernandez and allsop in the same lineup!

i'm loving this game, I've played about 10 online matches, will only probably 2-3 victorys, and a couple of thrashings, but this game is awesome online, and not much lag what so ever!
 
Does any1 know if its possible to save goals from online games? I scored a ridiculous goal with robinho yesterday and couldnt manage to save it and now no1 will believe it actually happened except my mate who was watchin it :(

not sure about online games, but in regular friendlies you can upload the video. i think when you watch the goals replay there is an option to upload.

It seems a lot more unforgiving in terms of positioning and possession, crosses are a lot smoother and you can actually score headers from corners now.
 
Just played online for the first time.

It's fantastic, I lost my first game 1-0 before bouncing back to win my second 2-1, both times playing as Newcastle against Manchester United.

Bit of a dodgy penalty in the second game though :p

a question on online gaming. ive tried it playing nba live 08. got fed up cause of the lag and general jerkiness - a function of my wireless connection i would believe.

is it best to just buy an ethernet cable and play through it?

So did you get the dodgy penalty? Big clubs and their luck eh, United never get any. :p
