Those two were basically swaps for Dunk and Gama de Oliveira through different deals, but I don't mind as I feel like they both peaked anyway.
If you can remember how much did Dunk get to in your career mode. He got up to a 83 by the end of the 2017-18 season before he wanted to move on. Silly for him though as his last game for Brighton was against Barcelona in the Champions cup final. Was getting plenty of game and game time too so that wasn't the issue.

Anyway, as I said above, Brighton and Hove Albion made the final of the Champions Cup which was partly due to the sale of player who had come through my youth squard and sold him to Real Marid for 87 million:D . Ended up being a classic. I went up 1-0 in the 20th min from a goal from Neymar which was looking like it might be enough until Messi got a break away in the 85th minute. In extra time Messi again scored in the 114th minute and it was looking all over until Luc Castaignos scored on practically the last kick of extra time, so we went to penalties.
Barcelona went to a 2-0 lead and then it was up to Messi to finish us off. He sprayed it over the bar. We scored the next 2 while my keeper saved their next shot, so it was 2-2 after 4 each. My keeper, Guaita saved their 5th shot to give us the advantage. It then came down to my other striker in Hugo Catarino who slamed home goal numer 3 to make Brighton and Hove Albion Champions of Europe.

Awesome story dude. Dunk got up to an 80 and then left, I thought he'd peaked tbh. Although sometimes progression does differ based on random things. My Brighton squad is basically unrecognisable now, it's cool though.

Up to Div 4 in online seasons now. Weird thing happened at the end of Div 5. I won the title but I still had to play one more game till it said I won the title again. Then it put me up the Division.
Record is 40-6-2 those 2 losses to bloody Man City... can't stand aguero, Hart, tevez etc.

hmmmm on my online mode ps3 I only have FIFA interactive World Cup for ranked online, is there another section called seasons?

Edit

Disregard - found it.

I was around 30-15-20 in H2H seasons for PS3, but I have a 360 now and I'm 34-4-4.

Don't understand if I'm just heaps better with a 360 controller or if the FIFA players on 360 are average :/

I reckon Xbox controllers are much better in general. The L2/R2 buttons are too flimsy on the PS3.

I'm in Div 1, record is 58-7-7, 5 losses to Man City. As you said, I f'n hate playing against them. Hart saves everything against me.

The other loss was against a laggy Brazilian, and the other loss against some Hong Kong douche who scored in the 40th and played ultra-defensive 5 men at the back the rest of the game.

Does anyone else hit the posts all the time with shots? Seriously, I usually do it at least once or twice a match and sometimes more. It's like the players are aiming for them. Overall I'd say at least a quarter of my shots hit the woodwork.

Yep, and I reckon shot blocks from the opposition defence are way more prevalent in FIFA 13 than they've ever been before.

Anyone have any tips on how to beat the guys that play on ultra defensive, 5 at the back, and counter attack a lot? (other than doing the same thing yourself)

I am not great at FIFA and find that the only way I can match it with them is to do the same thing myself. That brings me to a decision of playing a style that I find boring and unenjoyable or losing and I am not a huge fan of either option. I usually end up just turning the game off which sucks.

So, any advice on how you play against this particular strategy?

It may be boring, but take your time, be patient. Control the ball in midfield and slowly draw him out. He can't score while you're in possession.

This is what I do. Just pass, pass, pass. He'll most likely get frustrated and make a mistake and that's when you take your opportunity.

Just sold suarez at the end of the season after winning the golden boot for 70 mil!!

Brought Benzema, Remy, Neymar and they all scored 1st game!!

Just started up a Pro career, picked a random team which turned out to be FC Istres in Ligue 2. 66 rated striker and 6"4, so pretty slow but good in the air. Put simply the team was shit, kept getting beaten 3-1, 4-1 and it wasn't good enough. Played 2 league games for 1 goal, manager showed me a transfer offer and recommended I accept it so I did. Off to BSC Young Boys in the Swiss League, they're pretty good and top of the league, sat out the first four matches I think but then made my debut in the Europa League against Sporting CP and scored on debut! :)

If FIFA's Young Boys are anything like their real life counterparts you should be in for some pretty entertaining games.

Manager "G. Glitter" just picked me for the next game
