Played a few games. The first touch seems good but I'm not really a soccer expert so I never really paid attention in the past. Playing on World Class, played FIFA 12 on Pro but I found it way too easy. The AI doesn't play the same which is good to see because in previous FIFA's every team plays the same way. My only complaint is pace. I'll admit I'm a sucker for using pace as United have Little Pea, Ash Young and Nani but I have noticed that centre backs seem to keep up far too easily. I got the ball with Giovani at the half way line and only Lescott was there to the right of me. Held sprint to burst away into the box. Lescott stuck with me the whole way and Kompany even caught up. I've never watched Serie A but Giovani is pretty pacey isn't he? Pacey enough to outrun Lescott surely?

very impressed

averaging 17 tackles per game so new system definitely suits my style of play

so much more satisfying when you score or pull of a good pass

only bad thing i've noticed so far is i've scored twice from headers while i've been marked and my defender hasn't done anything to stop me, just looks at me

had a few games on legendary and lost a few and drew a few but i probably should've lost by much more in the games i did lose. it still seems the only thing that makes it harder is that the cpu goes into invincible mode and your players go into complete ****** mode no matter what you do.

so happy with the changes made though, i was actually happy to see aguero miss a few shots for a change.
 
This is awesome. Few things I noticed

- has the option to save team manager changes in H2H seasons - Fifa 12 was crying out for this :thumbsu:
- free kicks are so much better - seems to dip so much more realistically, hopefully will result in much more goals
- small thing - i got a free kick and the ball bounced away, so one of my team mates got the ball and passed it to me so i could take a quick free kick - looked brilliant
- i'm finding it hard to score but I'm rubbish against the AI anyway, can't wait to play online/against mates
- the crowd is AWESOME - playing with headphones and when I took a corner, as the ball went near the box the roar was absolutely huge
- it's sad playing with Milan without ibra
- soundtrack is typical fifa :thumbsu:

General FIFA question: does anyone else switch the commentary language to match the country you're playing in? So if you're playing La Liga, you have the Spanish commentary on. Bundesliga, German commentary, etc.
It adds to the experience, IMO. Plus, it can be educational. :thumbsu:
 
- players have more urgency...not the goalkeeper though
- goalkeepers getting carded and there's more chance of keepers giving away penalties
- love the reaction passing and flicks, outside of the foot flick by nasri as soon as he got the ball, onto toure for a goal
- sliding tackles are way better, more chance of actually tackling someone now
- something i don't like is how frequently the old L1+x then L1+triangle trick is coming off, i've seen it on heaps of youtube vids and i scored some ridiculous goals on world class just by randomly doing it, the defenders are too slow and don't seem to have any awareness. but then lescott can chase down theo walcott and take the ball from him while theo is gunning it full tilt? yeah sure

Interesting. I've heard that the finesse shots are harder, so scoring in general is a lot less likely.
 
Yeah they've gone a bit AFL Live with the pace (Minson chasing down Rioli) I think, probably grow on me though.

Just seems like every time I'm a half chance at getting a break they catch me in a flash, even if I've got a quick player in space. Might have to change the ol' tactics up a bit.

Just contain (no sprinting) until you're sure you can get a standing tackle in.

Much easier to tackle in this.
 
The CPU scored with an awesome free kick against me. The CPU (Dortmund) had it just outside the box, the first guy faked the shot and then laid it off to the layoff man. He then played a ball in front of another Dortmund guy outside the box and he drilled it into the net. Awesome.
