After 16 games, i got to the top of the table on 38 points, then, it all went down hill... lost my next 2 games 3-2 and 3-1, then had a 1-1 draw to Newcaslte (Rooney got a straight red), then had a 2-1 loss, but finally got back on the winners list with a 3-0 win with RVP getting a hat-trick. With no Rooney, I need him to fire.

Also, anyone getting really annoyed with the crosses in the game? you just tap x and the ball goes way past every player to the other side of the pitch, it's pointless to cross the ball in now.

Finished my first season this arvo as well. I rounded out the season pretty strong, ended up in seventh place, two wins behind a play-off spot. Jesus Kennedy netted 15 goals and was the fifth best striker in the league. But I did manage 18 clean sheets (best in the Championship), something that I'm proud of, so I'll need to build on that next year.

The worst thing for me is just waiting for these scouted kids to turn 17 or whatever (......). I do have £7 mil in the bank, so I'm contemplating whether I should buy a new central midfielder, or keep it for my first PL season... hmm...
 
Currently doing it rough in the Premier League
3w 2d 3l sitting on 11 points in about 8th spot.

Doing well in the Champions League though. in the first 3 group games Ive drawn with Wolfsburg 1-1, beat Celtic 2-1, and beat VVV-Venlo 6-0.

Had a good game in the Capital One cup knocking out Man City after being 1-1 at the end of extra time I went onto win the shootout 8-7. De Gea saving the day when I had save a penalty to stay in it.

I was going to sell Hernandez because he was just taking up space on my bench, but then Rooney suffered a broken ankle, out for 3 months. Now I have to hold onto him for a bit until Rooney is good to go.

Might start a another career soon with Adelaide United. Strengthen them and then build my way up to bigger leagues.
 
24 games into the season as Arsenal sitting 2 points clear of Man Utd and Tottenham just behind them. Man City struggling at the moment in 6th and Liverpool even further down. Brought in Neymar for 10 mill + Walcott as I've found Walcott to pretty much useless other then his speed which isn't such a big factor in 13 as previous years. Sold Gervinho for double his worth as he was in form to Juventus which might come back to bite me in the Champions Cup as Juventus is tearing it up. Also got an offer I couldn't refuse for Mertesacker but didn't have time to find a replacement so I'm a little light on quality CB's. Brought in Adryan and the legend Henry, surprising the commentators didn't bring up Henry's past with Arsenal.

Also took on the South Africa national team after getting offers from Russia, Switzerland, Denmark. Won 7-1 against Egypt in my first friendly then got toweled up by Mexico 3-1 in my 2nd. Sth Africa have so much pace with their attackers it is insane.

Yes dammit, yes! Will be trying to do the same next window. Since defenders are a lot better, getting a foot in all the time, Walcott's speed is pretty useless for me.
 
My Liverpool team at the start of my third season. It's pretty beastly now as they have all sky rocketed in overall so I'll post them to.

I think I bought Traore for like 12 million, had an offer from Juventus just before for 32 Mill. Talk about profit.​
 
Did you buy Sahin or did he just stay there for some reason? I ask because I was simming a Juventus season and Bendtner still hasn't left yet. Didn't retain or buy him of course. He can still play but when I highlight him on like the squad report page it has an Arsenal background for his picture.

I had him for the 2 seasons... he left at the end of season 2 actually. But I liked him so I just bought him back.
Yeah it seems with loans and so forth, that the originals all last 2 seasons because I just got Andy Carroll back aswell.
I've sent my kids that Ive scouted on season long loans this season so I will see by the end of it whether they come back after 1 or it is 2 aswell.
 
Three games down of Season 3 with Sydney FC and I've won them 2-1, 9-1 and 5-1. It's an absolute romp and I honestly think I could make like the Arsenal Invincibles of 03-04 and go through the entire season without a loss. My squad is just so much better than everyone else's.

I was in need of shoring up my midfield after I sold off the free agent Vokes for a 5 mil so I went out and purchased a pacey young CAM from Chelsea called Gael Kakuta - extremely agile but unfortunately broke his ankle in the second game of the season and will be out for 3 months, sidelined for just as long as Terry Antonis. I also loaned a youth player from Barcelona called Cortes for a season long loan, only 19 but already a 73 overall at CM.

If I could recommend one player you should all pick up in career mode it's Wilfried Bony. Insane player, so far leading the scoring tally with eight goals from three games. 77 acceleration, 78 sprint speed, 93 strength and 91 shot power at ST. He bulldozes anyone and you literally just put the ball on his boot, he turns, blasts and scores. Keepers can't stop him at this level. Enough pace to break away too, because he can't be muscled off the ball.

Thinking I'll play this out as my final season at Sydney FC with a three-peat then hopefully move on to an English side. My full-strength side looks like this:

Just started a new save with Bradford in English league 2. And man it is hard going getting good players in.

I pretty much sold the farm to get in Suso (Liverpool), Piazon (Chelsea), and Boniperti (empoli) to build my team around. Disappointed sterling was too expensive.

Dominating the league (world class) with these zippy youngsters

nice team! i have antonis at victory but spends lots of time on the bench.

Cheers. It was a guy called Simone Finizza (I have been told he was a re-gen made up after Del Piero retired). Insane stats, 98 pace, in the 90's for ball control, finishing. But I hated playing with him because for some reason he only had 1 star skills. Couldn't even do a basic stepover. So I simmed most of my second season up to the January window, was leading the league by about 10 points at this stage, and Finizza's value was rising after every game. He was worth 32 million when I sold him but I got Barca to buy him for 54 million :thumbsu:
 
Finished 2nd with Man City in the EPL for the 2nd year running. This time to Man Utd by a lousy 1 point. Cool how it shows you other game scores while you're playing though and the commentary. I was winning my last match and MU were 0-0 against Chelsea but then scored in the 2nd half and ruined my party.

Did win the World Cup with Australia though. Was bloody tough playing with them.

You are using manual crossing, right? I had the same problem when assisted crossing was on by default. I changed it to semi and eventually manual after I got used to it.

We will be performing important maintenance on FIFA 13 and FIFA 13: Ultimate Team on 9pm-12:30am PT (Oct 9th)/5am-830am UK (Oct 10th). The expected downtime for all online services is 3.5hrs.

During maintenance, we will attempt to address the following:
- Stuck items in the FIFA Ultimate Team watch list and trade pile.
- Duplicate match results in Seasons and Online Friendlies.
- Users being relegated from Division 1 in Seasons with matches remaining.

FUT & EASFC will be down for the entire window. All other modes will go down from 930pm PT/530am to 10pm PT/6am UK.
