How i can have 5 men at the back with a midfield of FB Khedira, TOTW Vidal and RB Nainggolan with shadow on and still get easily beaten and pulled out of posotion on through balls and running straight line attacks whilst my opponents with his 4 men at the back on 1 depth stop every pass, every dribble and attack baffles me

Same for me. Doesn't make sense. I put all 4 defenders plus cdms on stay back while attacking, yet the fullbacks and cdms still push up the ground leaving me open to counter. The game seems to ignore basic things and replaces it with arsey moments.

So frustrating, even with the CB's and CDM's with low/high workrates I'm still finding them well out of position on defense.

I know all i have to do is set tactics to drop back and 1 depth and camp off ball but i just can't bring myself to do it , i just don't find it fun. Reminds of NBA 2K when everyone online just plays off ball defense and camps around the key and let's the ai do all the work.

Fut Champs, Never Again. Not until EA fix their servers at least.
Was 5-7 after yesterday fighting through the delay and just aids gameplay, then the game decides to increase the delay by another 500%. Lost the next 10 games with probably 5 by 1 goal and now ive just stopped playing.

Even tho my team is great it just cant compensate for the shitty servers.

Cyberpunk cant come fast enough.

Yeah I feel that, too! Give objective players a go, if you can. It is a bit sweaty but it's fun playing around with different squads.

Honestly, playing this next-gen version has me wondering if they accidentally released the wrong version. Why is the gameplay speed on 600%? Why does every single player feel the same on the ball? Why is everything so light and glidey? Why isn't there a camera that shows the field? Why don't my FUT games start 80% of the time?

I'm not the sort of person that buys FIFA every year and complains that it's no good. I've bought it 10 years in a row. This, with no hyperbole, feels close to FUT 13 gameplay. It's so easy to just sprint down the middle and play through balls. I really don't get what they've done here, it sucks. What happened to defensive AI... you know, as a concept. Do they have any?

What comes to mind is the criticisms in the early 10s of FIFA as a ping-pong game. I wholeheartedly believe this is the worst gameplay ever.

They just want speed, speed, speed and high scoring. With as little stoppages as possible. Pretty sure it was designed by Gillon. There's barely any fouls called and limited penalties as well.

I'm yearning for 20's gameplay which I hated at first for being too fast. But this is next level.

I don't like the new angle for attacking at all. ****s with your depth perception which is pretty important for judging who's onside and setting up play in general.

I go a bit full on with fifa, and have for the past few years. I’m addicted.

Nothing enrages me more, I’ve broken TVs, controllers, anything around me. It makes me think the worst things.

The game itself is enraging, internet and p2w are only additives.

I believe life consumption is the best way to help. Try to enjoy folks.

POTM Joao Felix is really good. Fairly cheap SBC to do considering how good his cards always are, if you got the funds and/or fodder i highly recommend.

I think they corrected it to be 83+, or at least that's what I saw. Reckon it will be as a reward redeemable in icon swaps, now that they are only putting 6 icons in there.

I think EA are seeing that the tide is turning with gambling/microtransactions as Belgium has Fifa points banned and I think the UK are looking into it as well. They're probably trying to squeeze as much $$$ out of it while they can.

Thinking of setting up a game with a friend and giving each other the 5 free kick goals needed because it's near impossible to get it done otherwise, you're either playing online where everyone puts the player on the line or playing squad battles where tge AI will not foul you in your offensive third.

Thats what I did. I had 2 controllers, set up a Fut friendly and just fouled outside the box, moved the keeper out of the goal and scored free kicks. Was super easy.
