There are more ways than one to get someone back for something like that. What I'd actually consider doing would be to find out who the guy was and have him charged with assault - that'd **** him. Self defence is only really a viable excuse at the time of the initial altercation.

So Cam, what do you call defending yourself?

If a guy gets in your face and is lippy, or maybe gives you a little shove.....do you chin him? Or do you talk your way out of it, and take the chance that he may hit you in the back of the head while you walk away?

Or does somebody have to rough you up a bit before you start defending yourself?

If you feel like joining in with everyone else, you could just go on about how I'm a bogan that punches people for no reason, but all that I have been advocating throughout this thread is a person's right to reasonable self def.

I think the question I asked you was perfectly reasonable, and there is nothing wrong with advocating reasonable self defense.

I've also managed to ignore the comments you've made in the thread where you've done your very best to sound like a pro wrestler, but if you want to get defensive and not answer the question then so be it.

Actually, it was the one about finishing fights that other people start. I forgot about the DDT (what is a DDT btw?) one, which was clearly a joke.

Doesn't hurt them at all, but u get them in a pretty wicked headlock when they're down.

I said I don't start fights, as in I wont initiate any violence, but if someone hits first, I wont hold back.

never been in a fight outside school, but have had to resist the temptation a few times:

- one time me and a mate had to drive out to liverpool for some reason, we stopped at some lights and a bunch of lebs pulled up next to us and spat on my car. it didn't make sense to me tbh, i was driving a barina ffs.
- the day after the cronulla riots i was waiting at a bus-stop and some old redneck bogan walks past mouthing off at me and then walks up to my face and calls me a "flipping lebo" (i've got english and austrian parents but get pretty tanned over summer i suppose), i just stood there and met his gaze nonchalantly, his bogan girlfriend came and dragged him away.
- waiting outside a concert with my then-girlfriend, holding her hand and some tool brushes up against her, lingers, whilst still up against her, leering at her and then starts to strut away, never taking his eyes off her. that was kinda hard, i wanted to at least give him a shove or something, but i suppose my girlfriend was pretty hot.
- there were a few opponents, when i played rugby, who for some reason took exception to me tackling them and got up swinging. i would just laugh.
- sometimes i'll happen to hear a nickelback song and i get the overwhelming urge to punch someone, but i resist.

Just found out that my sisters BF got mobbed by 2 or 3 blokes on the weekend and was admitted to hospital. Bit hard when you can't defend yourself with 3 guys beating the shit out of you. To make things worse they ripped a chunk of hair of my sister's and i think more may have happened. Picking on a female is pretty gutless So from what i have heard they are being charged for assult, but that not stopping me from taking matters into my own hands. I want blood:mad::mad::mad: if i find out there names

If someone hurt my sister or my mother I'd hunt them down too. Rational thoght would not be an option.

Jeez this kinda crap makes me mad. I can't stand the Hyena attitude, hunt in packs and are tough as nails but are little marshmallows all alone!

Can I assume you've quoted me as saying the situation you've detailed is where you'd certainly go in swinging?

If so, then I'd certainly agree that it would be the perfect time to do it.

I've been involved with a very serious bashing and it's a shit crime to try and determine how much someone should be punished, and the circumstances that should justify that punishment.

Like another poster has mentioned there is a good chance a crap, long and painful court case will be something to deal with over the next year or so. They suck, but don't be surprised to hear some things you don't want to about the people you like/love and something different than the stories you've been told by them, about what happened on the night.

I hope it all goes crap for the guilty party.
