According to the Carlton website that's it until the trade period.

Sounds like Carlton are having a factory seconds fire sale in trade week.

Probably because a lot of our fringe players might or might not stay depending if the big guns get traded.
eg If Whitnall goes...Morell stays but if Whitnall stays...Morell goes
And also many players could be used as trade bait.
Don't see who would want plays such as Bannister and Prenda tho :S

with having campo, lappin and whitnall unsigned and interest in fev, i think we will wait till we re-sign some of them or until trade week where we may need to use some fringe players as bait or sweeterners to deals.

1st list lodgement isn't till Monday, October 31 by 2pm so there is no rush, better to keep them on the list till trades are finalised then we can assess our list.
we may be only able to pick up talls in trades so we need to keep midfielders on as depth and so on

Alot of the players on the Carlton list will be used to win over some trades. eg. rather than just give a third round pick for a player we might trade our third round pick plus a dud for a player.

Congratulations on de-listing David Clarke.

Possibly the most frustrating player to have ever played in the hoops and I'm sure a few of you guys have the same opinion about him playing for the navy blue.

Good luck for a clarkeless 2006.

It's frustrating the a hack like that can make the AFL and its more frustrating that Carlton picked up the dud after he couldn't get a game at Geelong.
