A couple of weeks ago i posted a thread on how to free kerr up by either playing him forward or getting him to go head to head with other good players. What a diference it made when Kerr went to mitchell last night. He may of picked up more posessions but he was under pressure and often turned it over. I hope we do this more often as it allowed kerr to play one on one football for maybe the first time this year.

kerr doesnt really play 1%er style football and i think his frustration comes because these young kids arnt on the same page as him yet.

i think we should let the kids run the midfield and develop and continue to give kerr these jobs every week.

everytime kerr gets shut down, the opposition team we play gets a huge boost of confidence.

Huh?

Anyway, I thought Kerr was ok on Mitchell.

It does seem like Kerr as a tagger has the capacity to release some of the youngsters. At least some of the burden on the midfield anyway when one of the dangerous opposition players are shut down. Mabye giving A.Selwood and Kerr tagging jobs, releasing Priddis to play in and under whilst letting the kids Masten and Ebert play outside???
