After some thoughts, if you were to go in the ballot for 2A and 2C (girls 8 & 10) would you still opt for standing room tickets? Just not sure if they would handle standing for that timeframe but still want to give us the best chance of getting tickets (priority 2).

Took the plunge and bought flights for wife and myself. $1000 return - leaving just after midnight on GF day and coming back late Wednesday.
If we dont win, and if I don't get through on the ballot I may just kill someone.

That's a great deal. I booked for my grandson and me, leaving Perth on Friday and returning Tuesday, and it cost $1400 each.

Confirmed with the club that the 12-digit number on my card is the barcode for the ballot. Not sure what's going on with the emails as it doesn't sound like any SA member on this thread or IRL received one.

I just recieved a txt about times to register for the ballot. I'm just a 3 game interstate member.
Would be interesting if I could get a ticket but wont bother this year.

So with the noteholders ones, do you get your ticket straight away?? So as soon as we win/if we win the PF, do they just get one automatically? May have one lined up from a mate who lives in Melbourne, but don't really wanna book flights etc until we know for sure.

No, you still need to register your barcode via Ticketek tomorrow for the allocated time slot. Once you do this successfully, should the Eagles make it to the GF you are guaranteed a ticket. If the Eagles do not win their prelim, then you will not be charged other than the $5 admin fee.

As far as flights are concerned the airlines are just price gouging us here in WA.

Surely this is no reason to excess profits, I mean Q**t*s doesn't really care about WA, they don't even have an international route out of here only Jockstar.

And don't get me started on V**g*n these guys are the official carrier surely this should be a good marketing exercise, profit say an extra 10 percent not the levels we are seeing, at least make the seats refundable - that would be fair.

Next thing we will see is seat prices at the games double the price in WA to what they are in VIC….. too late...

My brother is on a flight back from London and is a noteholder but don't know if he's even aware of ballot window etc, so am going to tee them up for him, but...

Do I just use the barcode on his membership cards, or is there something I read about him being sent a letter with new unique barcodes??
