As long as Port bust their arses and bruise a few Cats I'll be happy. Hope they get up though. So many guns with bright futures in their list.

Sydney should do it easy over Carlton. However those two come from behind close wins will do wonders for the Blues confidence. They will be up and about early.

That seems quite a generous crowd estimation for the Cats game OP, expecting a large Port traveling contingent?

If they get 45,000 on Friday night I'd be amazed.

Carlton beat their bunnies, so don't seem them getting up over Sydney up there. Even though Sydney look tired, I can't see Carlton winning.

We should beat Port, but they looked fantastic in that last qtr against the Pies so should be a good match.

Geelong by 45 in front of 45k with Joel and Stevie shaking hands with the Port players because it's only important to be a good sport when you WIN.
Carlton by 22 in front of 52k people cheering for Cathy Freeman.

Cool story but they shook hands with the Freo players.

Geelong vs Port Adelaide - 17 pts, 43k

Honestly think Port can get up this week. Young, brave, dangerous, skillful and have nothing to lose. The Cats meanwhile have the weight of expectation hanging over their heads, so you don't really know what's going to happen. Expect a very physical game. Hawkins and Enright are in doubt, whereas Port has a clean bill of health. Port to be in front marginally for most of the night, then kick a couple of late goals to send the Port faithful in a frenzy come the final siren.

Sydney vs Carlton - 36 pts, 55k

Sydney have been below their best over the last month. However, expect them to come fired up after last weeks loss at the hands of the Hawks. There are no passengers or out of line ego's in the Sydney lineup. They're highly disciplined and organised and should give an unpredictable Carlton a fair old touch up.

A few Hawthorn supporters would be more happier if the Swans and Geelong lose this weekend than if they won the flag this year!

I'm really worried about Geelong. We just can't break this losing streak. As for the Swans we now have their measure.

Geelong vs Port Adelaide: Geelong by 23 points: 47,198 @ MCG
Port will no doubt throw everything they've got at the Cats, but I think that the double road trip, and playing Geelong will be too much and the experienced Cats will pull away.

Sydney vs Carlton: Sydney by 39 points: 49,823 @ ANZ Stadium
I expect Sydney to come out firing, the Blues will peg them back but inevitably will never be able to recover and Sydney'll bang through a few late and make it a big margin.

Good tips as always.

I got my Richmond vs Carlton tip correct last week. ;)

i tipped Port Adelaide and Carlton because both the Swans and the Cats are limping into this final, if you think otherwise you're delusional.

It doesn't matter who Hawthorn gets to play in the Prelim or the Grand Final, no one is stopping us.
