Her ex-partner is an abusive schizophrenic by the sounds of it and still owns half her flat so I'm best off out of it. She says he wouldn't be happy about me.

Yet another girl of gen y that is loaded with baggage and keen to be a head**** for another poor unsuspecting bloke out there (ie you).

**** her off, this is not needed.

My parents are dead, can I use yours?

Well I had a strange night. She didn't cook me dinner for some reason never explained. I don't think that attracted to me, so we didn't do sex. We just sat up all night drinking wine and talking sh1t. We kissed a bit and I felt her arse and **** but that was about it. So romantic

Were you wearing a flannel shirt while all this was going on...

After finishing eating, she excuses herself to the ladies. So I am at the table, waiting, waiting, waiting. After what seems like an eternity, I happen to glance at people in the restuarant giving me strange looks. Still I had no clue what was going on. After a bit more time, the waiter decides to put me out of my misery and explain that my "date" had left the restaurant a fair while ago, and was I ready to have the bill? In other words, she had done a runner. Everyone in the entire restaurant knew except for me. There was nothing else left to do but put my head down and try and get out of the restuarant as fast as I could and put an end to the humiliation. Suffice to say I havn't seen the girl in question again or frequented the restuarant again.

I had a good look at your post, and agree with other posters.

I recently had a no-show to a date, with an sms claiming that she just received a call about her Dad and had to turn around. Thinking that he'd had a heart attack (or something else serious), I replied that was fine etc.

Found out later in that week (after not answering her phone/sms) that there was no problem with her Dad at all. I can only presume she'd changed her mind about things.

Pretty classy
