Monty Python and the Holy Grail is on. I used to show parts of it to my Year 8 SOSE classes when studying the Middle Ages. Can you imagine doing that in a Catholic school(or any other school) today? I did have to fast forward through parts just to be on the safe side. Good times.

My two nieces were supposed to fly to Phoenix from Illinois Thur to be with my brother and sister-in-law for Christmas. Their flight was cancelled so they are stuck in the snow and cold. My nephew flew in from Seattle a few hours ago. It is currently snowing and -22C in Chicago. LOL

Forty years ago tonight I was at Carols By Candlelight with my parents who were visiting me for Christmas. It was my only time going. Seems like only yesterday. My parents had their first warm weather Christmas as a couple. Dad had been in the South Pacific for Christmas during WWII in 42-45.

I'll never forget the wonderful weeks we had together. Good times.
