Yay! After waiting over two years since I had to cancel cataract surgery at the E+E Hospital, I'm scheduled for surgery on Oct 16. I had to cancel last time since I had another surgery booked in late for the week before. My cardiologist will have to be consulted regarding anesthesia because of my low BP, but at least it's just local. Have to go in a week earlier for tests, like I had last time. My helper will be making a bundle driving me and staying with me both times - probably at least $800.
