Same with a mountain lion jesus fking christ.. and yanks are scared of OUR animals. How the hell does that work
I know. I read a book on surviving the bush and a chapter on animals. There was several paragraphs on bears on what to do.Mountain Lions are way scarier than bears (the black ones anyway). Silent stalkers. Attacks are rare though. Similar to sharks or crocs back home.
In my lifetime these are the wild animals ive seen:
Maybe 3 red backs
A couple blue tongues.
I think thats it. Not counting tours and stuff..
Never seen a snake in the wild.Snakes are by far the biggest danger in Australia. I’ve been in the surf when shark sirens have gone off though. You turn into Thorpe pretty quick!

Ive been bush heaps of times- GOR, up north cairns etc... nup not oneWow. You stay in the city mostly? Even in the east of Melbourne I’ve seen a few browns. In the north of the state I saw copperheads a bit.
Whats the most aggressive/dangerous animal. Its a hippo isnt it?
I dont mean deaths thoMosquito causes most deaths. Snakes or dogs otherwise I think. Dogs just from proximity to humans.

Sounds like kangaroos here..Moose are another North American one. Big aggressive bastards. Mostly cause car crashes though.
