This is an apple caramel cake.

Best one ive done- its really tricky to get the timing right.

Ie, on the receipe which is clearly a load of bullocks- it has 180 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes!!!!! The absolute... the first time i baked this cake i almost burnt it. I worked out, 175, for 55 mins is bang on perfect. Its hard to get the middle of the cake cooked tho, without burning a little of the outside. But this time the whole cake is cooked perfect.

Was half thinking out of the blue should just drive up the 3 hours to Perf to sis but I can't be ****ed. I hate highway driving so much.

She's funny I bother with her about 10 times more than she does with the rest of the year but goes weird when you don't go around there for Xmas. She's great but FMD it's just a holiday what you do all the time is more important.

my oven is too good imo. Im too scared to cook anything fan forced- cause its too strong.

So i just do normal oven- at the time they usually give and that cooks it fine

Where's my God damn snow for Christmas? LOL Just texted my brother. It's warmer in Phoenix than it is here at the moment. However, it's -8 in Chicago with snow showers and snow expected for Christmas Day. Suckers! Having Christmas lunch in the house in a little while. Another Aussie/Indian Christmas feast!
