ive never played backgammon, have no idea of the rules.
i am unbeatable at connect 4 though
Never heard of needing to roll the exact number. There are a few different variations though so that could be oneMe and my aunty had a massive fight over BG rules the last time I played her. When you get all your men in the pick up area- she reckons you have to spin the exact number to get them off the board. So counter in no.5 spot, you gotta spin a five, even if you spun a 6. Im of the opposite.. its like "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6- you are off the board, so you should pick it up.
We ended up deciding- whosever house we're playing it, house determines the rules.
Re. the general rules are you serious? If you can count, you can play backgammon.
*and I have a felt board. Brown and white counters. Would have loved my papu's (handmade?) wooden board with green and white counters. It had an awesome "tall" wall on it. Could really throw those dice hard at it.

Easy as. You basically gotta move all your "men" around the board. You go in one direction- your opponent goes in the opposite direction.
ALL your counters have to be in the last section of the board, until you start picking them up.
You spin a 4, 5- you move one counter 4 places and one counter 5 places. Or ONE counter 9 places.
You spin a double- its like double the spin. So 6 and 6, you can move 4 counters 6 spaces- instead of just 2.
You should head down to Oakleigh and school themYeah tbh... I googled the rules online when I got home.
My aunty seemed to be correct.
/I dont have to tell her that tho.
that sounds like the sort of game that sounds simple but is really hard to be good at
i can see how boards get thrown

What is Xeri?Surely you played Xeri? Now that I’m borderline unbeatable at
The card came..What is Xeri?
You making stuff up now
That’s surprising it’s arguably more well known than tavli. Ask one of your relos next time guarantee they’ve played it!Nope sorry never played it, let alone heard of it.
I chucked the board after i spun double 6s three times in a row.
But too bad i was trapped and a counter out of play, so i couldnt move.
Do you play it with regular playing cards? That’s surprising it’s arguably more well known than tavli. Ask one of your relos next time guarantee they’ve played it!
Gotta go just to check out the restaurant Meat Me in the central part if nothing else. The best mix grill platter known to man. To die forI dont think i have ever been to Oakleigh.
Got an ice skating rink correct
Normal playing cards. Goal is to capture cards from the middle with whatever you’re dealt. Very strategic and funDo you play it with regular playing cards?
Or is it special deck like Uno or Phase 10.
/phase 10 is the ******* best. You need at least 5 or 6 players tho imo
That sounds a bit like phase 10 tbhNormal playing cards. Goal is to capture cards from the middle with whatever you’re dealt. Very strategic and fun
Yep a little different but it’s up that alleyWhich apparently is a bit like Gin Rummy. Is that xeri game like Gin rummy?
