Sydney didn't help themselves though.. would be hard to do much worse.

Who was the halfwit that thought playing Sam Reid was a good idea. Or to move the ball slowly allowing them to set up a nice neat zone. And then bomb it long to a contest down the line with taller Geelong players.

Must be out partying painting the town blue and white!
Horse had an absolute stinker

Ironically slow deliberate ball movement is how they beat us over here but I reckon Freo play this way too much. It might usually work during the regular season but I wonder if it is the reason we have an awful record in the wet and and falls apart under more extreme finals defensive pressure.

Catching not pitching? Son of a bitch!
One of my favourite bits in that saga is after Chris and the AA sponsor forger guy (forgot his name) have heard about Vito at the gay bar. After they pull up in the car just the way they walk into the Bada Bing to report the news I find hilarious, with such impetus it's as if they had to tell them about the 911 attacks or something.

The way Chris walks when he's marching in to tell them is priceless

Funniest part about the whole sage is how Paulie takes it
"I feel like Ï've been stabbed in the heart"
"How much more betrayal can I take?"

The one that flies under the radar is how Tony never really cared about the whole thing. He was pragmatic and couldn't give a sh*t what Vito did as he was a good earner. Last thing he wanted to do was whack him over it but he had to play the fine line acting all hurt and betrayed to appease the crew.

Then when Paulie starts getting really riled up he sits him down with "You gonna look after his kids when he's gone huh?" knowing Paulie is a tightass and wouldn't want it to end up costing him. Everyone thinks Tony is just thinking about the family but it was only to divert the talk away from whacking Vito. Classic example of Tony playing chess while everyone else in the room is playing checkers.

Nah was just gonna say that as something I always think about, funnily enough as long as Vito makes him lots of money Tony wasn't even that bothered by it.

Also when he's trying to justify his to decision later on to bow to pressure and get him killed he says something like "If Vito wanted to live that lifestyle he should have kept it quiet" and then a slightly confused Sil replies with "Wasn't that what he was doing?"

Funny thing is if Vito wasn't a good earner Tony probably would have whacked him immediately and made a big deal over his antics to score brownie points with everyone.

They played the exact same card with Ralph, he was even getting to be an issue but brought in way too much money for Tony to do anything. Ralph loved the cowboy act always pushing the line with everyone cos he knew it.

And in the end, after all he did, it was the f*ckin' horse that got him

Someone should tally up the amount of times someone says "Ralpie's a good earner".
Messes with Paulie's ma - "Ralphie's a good earner"
Has an affair with Janice - "Ralphie's a good earner"
Takes out Frankie's eye - "Ralphie's a good earner"
Beats stripper to death - "Ralphie's a good earner"
Causes war with Johnny Sac "Ralphie's a good earner"

Kills horse - "ah fangool he's gotta go"

Rolling Stone magazine just named The Sopranos No1 TV show of All Time in their Top 100

Well, tomorrow I can be on time, but you'll be stupid forever.
How good is that whole sit down

Starts with Paulie breaking the news he's putting Ma in Green Grove and Tony is all salty that's where his money is going
Then Ralph arrives with that one liner and Tony has to separate them
Tony screws Paulie over with the deal and taps his tiny espresso on the table like it's a judge's gavel
Then Furio comes in and slips over with his bung leg putting an end to it before Paulie can say anything

Haha I never even noticed that before.. it's why the show is very re-watchable so many small but great things you can easily miss.
