Omg, what a show/mini series whatever. So bloody good, am up to the last episode, I had to physically stop myself from watching it last night, so I could save it for tonight.

Finished The Wire and it ends pretty well, would put it in with really good TV series but not with all time greats like The Sopranos or Breaking Bad/BCS category.

Groundbreaking for its time, season 5 the weakest for me apart from the last eps.

Omg, what a show/mini series whatever. So bloody good, am up to the last episode, I had to physically stop myself from watching it last night, so I could save it for tonight.

And what a let down that finale was.

Spoiler: rant about last ep

Jfc, I get that the final ep wasnt going to live up to the 5th ep which had its whole amazing "Silence of the Lambs" vibe going on with it which was edge of your seat/hold your breath stuff- but still the finale was going to have the whole reveal of what the series is built on. But then it goes, twist after twist until it finally ends with the most bullshit twist ive ever seen. a. if you're ****ign a 17 year old and getting her pregnant, the most appropriate place to yell and rant on the phone to her about never contacting you again IS about 20 metres outside the home where literally all your family is inside of. and b. have a mobile phone without a code ( ) so anyone like your son can just access it and text this 17yo to meet you in the woods so you can "scare her" with a gun. THEN get this little snot nosed brat who cant even act to be the centre of this ridiculous plot holed filled twist and go shoot her in the stomach. THEN get his family to cover up his crime and lie for him- like multiple members of his family. Hmmm lets see a parent who will get 25 years-life in a maximum security prison v a little twerp who will get a couple years max in juvie. Ok then. And what the serious **** was the point of Guy Pearce's role in the whole series- he honestly had meatier stuff to work with in his final role in Neighbours than this. What a ****ing letdown, **** you Kate Winslet, **** you Guy. Ah that feels better.

And on that note, starting Yellowstone this evening.

Honestly that kid's performance would have been better suited to an episode of Home & Away. Srsly.

I did enjoy the non-murderer plot line parts tho of the episode.
