I was always going to do another search of the apartment before calling the RACV. The next idea was if they had fallen outside a drawer, like behind it and dropped down, inside the cabinet. So next step was actually dragging out the drawers. I had looked everywhere- around the couch, inside the couch, behind the couch, the kitchen, the bathroom, inside shoes, jackets, pants, pockets, bags, etc.

The last step was searching the car from the outside, the grounds around it, then calling the RACV to open the car.

One thing I did learn tho- because I was looking up the roadside assistance via Ford. You have it when you get your car serviced with them (which I do) AND only the first 7 years of the car. And guess what year my car is this year- 7 years old. So now I'm aware I have no roadside assistance as of the end of this year..

Do new cars come with spare keys?

When you buy a new car, the dealership usually gives you two keys for your vehicle. One of those keys will become the one you use all the time, while the other becomes your spare. But if you buy a used car, you often will only receive one key.

Well I hope our boy chicago wont be happy with that, I hope he hasn't smashed his TV..
I was at the game, first one in five years. Friends drove 40km out to pick me up, went to the game and drove me home. They drove four hours today just so I could go to a game.

I had to use a wheelchair to and from my seat at Marvel. I used my rollator in the ground to go to an accessible toilet. I can only walk about 80m without having to stop and rest. I was totally exhausted when I got home.

Wouldn't have been a bad day except for the footy. That might have been my last game. Maybe when I get an electric wheelchair I'll go again.

As annoying as the game was would've at least been great to get out with your friends.

Yes, they came out to visit me once a month for lunch when I lived closer. They come over once every two months for lunch now. They're both a couple of years older than me and are retired. I taught with the wife 25 years ago. They never forget my birthday or Christmas.

The wife accompanied me to the footy, and the husband did the driving. They aren't footy people at all. In fact, she had not been to a footy game in over sixty years! They are much the educated, much travelled, refined boomers. She survived esophageal cancer about thirteen years ago.
