My Nachos will be fine just straight up chips, salsa, shredded cheese and sour cream

We had ham, scalloped potatoes, cauliflower and white beans(which I threw out). Dessert is a blueberry muffin. I also have yesterday's dessert that I forgot to eat - a parfait with marshmallows, yoghurt and fresh fruit.

Most of the meals are OK, but they get rather repetitive. There is a roast every Sunday - beef, lamb, pork or chicken. Ham is an exception. I now refuse to eat any orange vegetable - pumpkin, carrots, sweet potato and also beans, white or green. The food is aimed at what typical old people like. I'm not typical.

I decided to watch The Fugitive tonight since it's been years since I've seen it. One obvious error is in the bus crash scene. Right before it happens the guard says they're close to Menard Penitentiary. Can't be true. There are mountains in the background and Illinois does not have mountains that high. The part of Illinois they are travelling in is rather flat, like most of the state.

Sweet potato is great!

Not when you have that and/or pumpkin at least three times a week. We've had pizza once and tacos twice in two years. My favourite meal is chicken Caesar salad with pasta. Favorite dessert is pavlova which we haven't had for a while. Residents complained that the satay chicken was too spicy so it got watered down. Spice is a dirty word here. [emoji3]

Lol at the clowns that don't used pre shredded cheese. Took me like 5 seconds to dump some on the pasta instead of 5 minutes dicking around grating it and then washing the stoopid thing later.

Yeah honestly give me a nice Shiraz or a Pinot at 1/4 the price. I just don’t get the draw to champagne yeah it’s French who really cares. Agree on the beer give people options, I’d rather have water than champagne
