Superstar singer Tina Arena is being praised for how she handled an intoxicated woman who ignited a brawl in the crowd at her show on Friday night.
An audience member described the person as out of control with four security guards needed to remove her from the fronts rows of the Palais Theatre in St Kilda.
It’s believed the woman was punching strangers and kicking them with Arena handling it calmly and professionally, saying, “darling you need to leave the show”.
Another person said it was like people had been at the races all day drinking and it was an unusual atmosphere.

“Back in the day she worked at a lot of pretty wild pubs and clubs. It’s not what you expect to happen at a Tina Arena concert. The people shouting abuse at one another were not easily going to leave and security did have to intervene. One woman threw herself to the ground and said don’t you dare touch me.”

One concertgoer said she’d never experienced so many people getting up and walking down aisles at a concert.

Arena, who scolded a concertgoer for taking a toilet break on Thursday night, is continuing her 30th anniversary Don’t Ask Again tour in Queensland.

Normally when I come home on the bus from the appointment, I get off at a stop way earlier and then walk home for some exercise. A couple of times I've been distracted and missed the stop, but I just get off at the next one. Today I was really distracted posting on big footy that I was nearly home when I realised 🤦‍♀️.

The guy at my appointment called me Michelle at one stage 🤣. I get that alot actually. I don't correct them...Don't want to make it embarrassing for both of us!

Just got back from a neurologist appt at St Vincent's. Some good news and some bad news. My illness hasn't developed into Parkinson's. My cognitive functions seem to be OK. However, my digestive tract needs attention.

I'm supposed to have breakfast every day instead of waiting to eat at about 1 or 2pm. Also need to cut down use of bread including pizza. No more family size pizza on the weekend. I can have a slice per day, but not the size I usually get on the weekend. Also she suggested more salads for lunch instead of my usual sandwich. I just wish they sold Hidden Valley Ranch dressing here.

I also have to restart the exercises I started three years with a physio. Ugh. At least the neurologist is satisfied that my illness hasn't really progressed since my last visit six months ago.

Oh, well,could be worse.

What is the issue with bread/pizza? Is it the flour?

Exercise will be really helpful, even though it's hard for you.

That's good that it hasn't progressed to Parkinson's. My uncle has Parkinson's and he has had a number of falls. My auntie explained to me on the weekend all the exercises he has to do for his hands and legs.
