Just put in my refund application with Merri-bek council. Turns out we got 3 parking fines that we could get a partial refund for.

Found out today that I have my unit inspection Friday of next week. I took a look at my back courtyard and the weeds have grown immensely since I last checked. I never go out there and always have my bedroom blinds closed. Zsa Zsa does get between the slats to look outside, but me, I never look. She didn't tell me that the weeds had returned.

Last year I contacted my Aged Care Package provider and they couldn't get anyone from within their system to do it, so got someone from Jim's Mowing to do it. Probably will have to do the same again. I wish they'd just concrete the courtyard. My days of gardening are well over.

It's terrible not having water.
Last year we had a burst pipe in the backyard so we had to turn the water off from the main. It was at night after dinner so couldn't call the plumber until morning. We filled buckets and jugs with water.

Special themed meal today: "Tastebud Travel". Minestrone soup, butter chicken with jasmine rice and a papadam and churros with chocolate sauce for dessert.

Makes up for yesterday's bangers and mash. Ick. Sausages should only be barbecued as a casual meal or as a Bunnings delicacy.
